Why does Prayer have to overcome spell resistance of a party member?
Daeran is casting Prayer, a beneficial effect for companions, and yet he has to overcome Ember's - and only her - spell resistance to apply its beneficial effect to her. Why?

I have to correct myself about this one actually. It is not really a bug, because it was intended to be that way due to PF rules. But we understand that taking off cloacks and gloves is inconvinient, so we are willing to find a way to make it more comfortable to use.

Spell resistance stops almost all magic, Normally you put it on last when your buffing.

SR isn't stopping Bless, healing spells, or literally any other buffs, just Prayer.

Probably because prayer has an offensive component and the game does not distinguish which side of the prayer you're on.

That sounds dumb. So basically I have to take off Ember's gloves (the source of SR), cast Prayer, then put them back on before the fight starts? And I have to do this for every fight?

Have the devs acknowledged this issue?

It's not really an "issue" the way a bug is. This is a practical obstacle that tabletop players have to deal with as well; it's usually a swift/free action to lower SR to allow party buffing. It's part of the game balance and general tactics mid-fight.

Still dumb, IMO, but at least now I know the devs aren't to blame and that this (probably) won't be changed.

In other words, it's intended to work that way.

Yes? I'm not sure why you felt that needed clarification.

That's great news, then, thank you.

While I have your attention, is it also a bug that stealth checks to avoid random encounters are only performed by the companion who was used to hide the camp during a rest?

No, it should work that way.

Alright, thank you. I'll put in a suggestion to change it, then.
