Custom Portraits?

There's no option in game for custom portraits, am I missing something or is this a bug?

This was mentioned before. Supposedly an oversight related to the console ports. Are you using a gamepad? The workaround is apparently to use mouse+keyboard to make the character, then switch back.

The game definitely allows custom portraits I'm using a lot myself

Click on "Custom" when selecting a portrait:

You'll need to get the portraits first and put them in the correct folder.
