Magical Vestment not working?
I just checked my AC breakdown and I noticed that Magical Vestment isn't "sticking." It's on my character's icons showing they have it and the AC of the breakdown totals the AC shown. But for example Camellia has both Magical Vestment Armor and shield and neither shows on the breakdown and its not adding AC (which should be +8). I only cast it on characters with armor since it says it embues it on to armor. I have Enduring spell and greater enduring spell.

Am I doing this wrong? or is this a bug?

I think MV used to stack with the enhancement bonuses on your items, but it may have been fixed. I thought it was good to keep since items pretty much outpaced the caster level scaling of MV, now I never ready that or greater magic weapon. Better use of slots elsewhere.

I think I understand. MV and Magic weapon does not stack with enchanted armor and weapons.. Alright I'll ditch it, sucks because it was Daerun casting them, kinda a waste of a limited slot.

It should stack with equipment up to +5 I believe. Might be wrong.

It's not showing up at all. Even as a conflict. The spell states it should work on shirts also and it doesn't. Tried it on Lann. I also just tossed on a +2 armor and recasted it and it didn't add anything, show up in the AC breakdown or show a conflict. I think this is bugged. Gonna submit a report.

Ok I just did some tests. It works on a non enchanted armor. It will show the +X value on the armor itself. It also works on enchanted armor, but the highest value will stick. So casting a +3 enhancement on a +2 armor will give it +3, but casting +2 will leave it at +2, same as with +1 on a +2 armor.

However the spell is cast on the character, not on the armor itself it seems. So even if you switch armors it will apply the bonus to the new armor. I tested this, this is how it works.

And it upped the armor class from before you casted it? It isn't upping mine. I tested it with a +2 mithrial breast plate and my AC was 43 before casting and 43 after casting and the spell is currently at +4.

OK I am a idiot. I retested from a completely clean slate. I 100% rested all my buffs off and looked at my AC then casted the two spells it is working. Being casted on the person and not the armor itself while not showing up in the AC break down confused me.

Thank you. There was never a issue and now I feel like a idiot for submitting a bug request LOL

Haha, well that's alright. I'm not even sure if the spell is implemented correctly. IIRC it should be cast on the equipment and not on the wearer, but perhaps the engine doesn't allow this because then you'd be able to sell for higher price?

I expected a conflict like with mage armor. But I do see the difference you were pointing out in the armor description.
What got me confused was a youtube build guide I was following for my second play-through. that showed MV in the AC breakdown, I paused it to see how the creator got Camellia to 82 AC when I was only at 42 with all non combat buffs on. But the guide is over a year old now, so i'm sure alot of his buffs got nerfed he also had his combat buffs on and seemed to be at the last dungeon.

Would be much clearer since it works the same as mage armor and barkskin for instance, but perhaps since this has something to do with armor/shield that have their own base stats and boni it works differently.
