Demon path.. Wildland Shaman?
After finish the game on Normal mostly as Angel and Legend I am now thinking about next playthrougth. that will be sure at least 100% on Core difficulty.

Originally wanted go Lich, but becuase I want really opposite character it leads me to chaotic (and my Lich has to be lawful Evil:)

So this leads me to so some Chaotic evil, demon warrior type that will go crazy with Cam and seduce Nocticula..

I have considered Barbarian, but now I look on Wildland Shaman, it is like ideal lore archetype for Demon... with Greataxe raiding his big wolf.

So... the questions:

Any tips for the build? I would like evade multiclassing, it is "only" core so it should be not needed.

Party composition and role?

So far thinking:
MC - greataxe wolf rider:p
Cam - lover, tank with rapier + complement witch/shaman abilities with MC
Wenduag - throwing axes
Daeran - Helaer and divine buffer
Regill - good talk, beacon of sense in madness + maybe some damage?
Woljif - Sneaky stuff and arcane buffing

So far I see I will clearly miss Ember touch attack rays for take down high AC bosses, so unsure..

Demon has a unique polymorph spell series in its mythic spellbook. But given that you plan on using weapons and mounting your pet, this will be something you can ignore. Since changing forms cancels mounting.

Wildland Shaman is one of the stronger archetypes out there and doesn't need any dips at all. Battle spirit takes care of weapon feats. You can focus on a Strength build to differentiate from Cam no problem. Buffing and enjoying melee slaughter is likely the way to go.

Regill is a wild card for Demon. But you can still have him till the very end as long as you manage to waggle a silver tongue in the right places. Which is admittingly really strange, considering he's a Hellknight through and through. Evil Arueshalae is a fitting companion in later acts as well. Her (nearly nonexisting) content pales in comparison to her good side tho. So it's mostly the satisfaction of setting her twisted Desnian ways back to a normal succubus.

If you want to use a battleaxe or 2h axe don't forger to pick lumberjack or warrior of the linnorn kings as background to get the proficiency, since shaman only gets simple by default. Also don't forget that you'll need 19 in wis to get 9th level spells, this is still a full caster class.
If you intend to mount the wolf, up mobility and pick some mount feats so that the mount become harder to take down (and don't neglect mythic beast feat).

Good point.

You actually answered one of my not asked question here - can Arueshalae be evil?:p If so she may be good fit, her archery + pet buffs and barskin are quite good.
Yeah, evil Arueshalae is a mythic path specific companion. While every path can make her return to the old ways, she'll only join Demon anew. I like to fully respec her into a new class at that point.
