In turn-based mode, is there no way to stop a character once I've given a mistaken move order?
Occasionally I'm a dummy and click the wrong spot on the map. Is there no command to stop the character before they charge their way into multiple attacks of opportunity?

That happened to me a few times.

It's infuriating, but there is a tutorial popup that tells you how to cancel actions.

I've forgotten what it was, though.

I hate when that happens. For me it's when I'm trying to swap weapon sets and accidently click on the thing above the weapon icon and they try to move to the spot under the UI on the map.

I haven't found a way to stop it. I usually compound my mistake by trying to hit spacebar to pause...which only speeds things up in turn based.

Mod more hotkeys to swap weapon sets with keyboard

Maybe, maybe, switch to real-time and immediately pause. Issue a new command and switch back to turn-based. Sounds iffy, so doubt it'll work.

Sounds like a real-time combat tutorial. Works in non-combat as well.

the key is G

It'll stop what everybody is doing right there.

Sure, you'll still have picked MOVE but you can stop it before it goes to double move, and you can use the rest of the move to move back.

you can also set the option to auto stop when you reach the end of your move so you still have your action turn. it's in the menu settings. very useful for turn-based, because you can't always see where your movement is going to end.

Yep, I've been there.
