Swarm that Walks
This is my final Mythic(before I take a break before replays). What do I need to know about it? I wanted to give a Blight Druid a go(got ahold of Ascendant Poison, yay!), but Hagbound is also occupying my thoughts. Regardless, don't think anything can top the Blight here. Well, maybe the basic Druid with a Centipede or something, how's that?

Swarm can profit from having a pet, yes. That way you can split up skills between the two of you. No companions or mercs make the path pretty understaffed on skills after all. That said, once you get a hold of your clones that won't improve (same skills, already max level, no respec and all). Your clones also won't have access to their own pet. Only your original.

Divine Hunter with Insanity domain and fiendish centipede pet was one of my all time favourites for Swarm. Insanity is insanely helpful for taking care of skill checks. But Blight Druid is also a very attractive combo.

In general Swarm plays like a Kineticist without burn. Blight Druid's passive abilities compliment Swarm Form, weakening enemies while you tank. Dexterity makes it easier to hit with your 'swarm blast' (yes, it can miss).

Study Target's increase to DC don't work, right? I have a Nature Fang, that could be even better(don't care about Shapeshift). Insanity Domain is insanely OP. Don't know how that thing can even exist. But I don't want Enchantment here. Was thinking Conjuration, Necromancy, Transmutation. With that said:

Why in the nine blazes is Caustic Eruption EVOCATION? It is Conjuration(Creation) in TT and given that other Acid stuff is...you'd expect...but no.

Not having strong fellings about Nature Fang myself. But can work of course.

If you want to go with a necro build other than Blight Druid, then taking a look at Knight of the Sepulcher could be interesting as well. Undead Antipaladin Swarm-that-Walks? He'd be a lovely sight for sore eyes I'm sure.

DC increase don't work. But should imo. It is up to +5 DC and that's like a not joke at all!

I meant Nature Fang can work as a Swarm.

Yes, I am just sad that Study don't give +DC. How's the base Druid? Not a fan that Blight loses the companion for some /meh Domains. (and the Nature's Soul route don't give Centipede or Lizard, so...)

And how's the Hagbound?

Its ok, but the bonus to stregnth is size, so its kinda worthless imo. Having +6 size bonus to strgnth gets canceled by any of the higher spells like porportions ore presence. I thought hag to be one of the weaker options.

I think melee does really well with swarm, because swarm increases your melee range to like 30 yds. So you can swing safeley from far away. Im not sure if that is a bug or not.

Hagbound's size boni work with the Swarm's size stat boosts. No problem there. The path grants some extra damage to your melee attacks as well. A hagbound's claws too of course. Personally, the archetype strikes me more of something for the Demon path instead. But again, it can of course also work with Swarm.

Like that's difficult to fix. Toybox -> Party -> Character -> Stats -> STR +2 - +6(depends on interval). I'm more worried about that Low AB. Probably should've been the inverse of Feyspeaker. Where Fey loses AB, Hag would get it.

Sword saint would be good with the high AC, high skills, high damage. Spell combat would probably work at any range so that would be nifty to. Swarm was still bugged last I played it. While it didnt have the clones until really late, it did allow you to keep your spell book.

I had a merged spell book, so I got to keep all the spells, and my caster level didnt drop.

Hm, Mythic Poison could probably also work on a Venomfist Brawler. They're better poison users than Assassin or casters with access to the Poison spell. The idea of six venomous halfling-swarm boxers pummeling humongous entities is an entertaining one.

Venomfist Brawler? Where'd you get that one?

The Brawler Class[www.nexusmods.com] mod over at nexus. Damage output is one size category smaller for fist damage than normal (small characters would deal damage as if they were tiny, ect.). But their poison makes more than up for it imho.
