Newb CC Question: Mutation warrior dual wield?
I have zero pathfinder experience, and I am looking for something melee-focused on the easier side just so I can get a grasp of the systems.

If I roll straight mutation warrior, is dual wielding viable? If so, is it dex focused or strength focused? My ideal is Mutation Warrior dual wield scimitar half orc.

What would be the best stat distribution???
Thank you

You probbably need to start with atleast 14 dex, then using a belt of dexterity you can take the dual wielding feats.

And that is to reach 19 dex? Beyond that, all in strength?

No problem. Being a Fighter archetype you have lots of feats for investing. And the Fighter's weapon training will allow to dual wield many different weapons without additional penality. Go for it.

Going for a Strength build is the easiest choice for scimitars. Dexterity is useful for various feats. Constitution is required for more HP.

yeah 14 dex, with a +6 belt will allow you to take all the feats.
You can get a belt in gray garrison +2
You can get a belt in Erastils temple, +4
You can get a belt in act V from many places for +6

STR 19 -> 24 at level 20
DEX 15 (you gonna need to use a +2 dex item at level 6 and a +4 at level 11 to unlock the 2 weapons fighting feats)
CON 12
INT 7-10
WIS 10+
CHA 7

I was literally about to ask this. So is there a reason I don't dump stat int wisdom and charisma and put it into constitution??? Is there a reason not to go above 12?

Well I think the 15 dex is wasted, specially since mutation warrior doesnt get armor training. 19 strgnth
14 dex
14 con
Is pretty standard. If your human or half orc human raised, you dont need as much intelligence. So that can vary. If your good alignment, you may want some charisma for bestow grace. If not, you could dump it unless you want to use intidimidate. Bravery can help out with will saves.

It then boils down to what race you want to use. If the race gives you two bonuses, it would be more stat efficient to get your second bonus up a little more.

You don't want to dump wisdom because it affect will save and will save is one of the fighter weakness. So 10 WIS minimum and if you have extra pts, 12 is not bad but optional.

Intelligence will only affect skill points per levels for you. I like skill points but this is up to you to dump it or not.

Charisma is pretty much useless for a fighter.

.....

15 DEX at level 1 is to be able to take two weapon fighting at level 1 and it also make thing a lot easier at level 6 and 11.

Is the half orc traits any good or should i just go human raised if I am doing half orc?
I'm looking at with base half orc
str 19
dex 15
con 14
int 12
wis 12
chr 7

edit: with the shackled corsair background for the scimitar familiarity???

Why would you want dual wielding at lvl 1, scimitars are not small wpns, your attack bonus is -4 for both. Most likely you wont hit anything. It can wait until you start getting wpn training, and have it count as small wpns for both hands. Besides you can get a belt before level 6.

Yep that's very good.

Keep in mind that you gonna be relatively easy to kill. So use your tank well and be careful to not get the agro on your main character too much.

The level 1 enlarge spell is very good for that kind of DPS build to give them weapon reach.

I think i would go for pickpocket

+2 Initiative is nice and you could use your mc as the rogue of your team if needed

Trickery max
Perception max
Stealth some
Mobility some
Athletic max? or some

Yeah Im completely new. If I go 14 dex what feats do I pick up at lvl 1?? And move 1 dex to chr to reduce its modifier penalty?

It depends, are you good or evil.
