Profane ascension

I am playing an angel character, wanted to know if accepting her gift does something bad to the storyline or it just a buff, and i wanted to know if giving her the crystal has any downside? i am not trying to get the secret ending (due to the time limit) so besides that it affect in any negative way to the story (like a character dying or turning evil)?

secret ending time limit is almost non existent as you can just pass a whole year to get back to the needed date.

There is a hard time limit, that is determined by when you finish act 4/

What is true? there is a hard time limit, or can you just wait another year and return to proper date?

Looks like we got off on the topic of secret ascension. Should note other drawback of accepting Profane gift - as she herself warns you - there could be a point where you might have to go against her will, and if so ... will require some Will checks to do so.

Secret ending has a time limit, standard for each path does not.

Had fun with that in the first playthrough, kept failing it at the Mythic 8 situation, she had quite the laugh in that one. Though that demon playthrough was a mess because of the bugs.....

the will check dosen't worry me, my cleric has 31 on will saving throws, without buffing.
