The second most important reason for a high charisma would be divine grace, which gives you a charisma bonus to saves. Not as important as mark of justice because of the many ways you can counter enemy spells/abilities, but still nice to have.
Choosing to go stonelord eliminates those class features in exchange for ones that aren't powered by charisma. I'm not at all sure that's a good trade, but it does mean charisma isn't nearly as important for you. Just make sure you can reach 14 with the aid of items and you should be fine.
But even if it was PnP accurate, you'd still want at least a little CHA for Lay on Hands uses. Earth Channel could have been useful against certain enemies in Chapter 2 as well, now that I think of it.
stone lord doesnt get dmg reduction/- but dmg reduction/adamantite... however the stalward defender trait he can get still says dmg reduction/- but stone lord doesnt get this native... so what's the deal?
