Tossing Camellia
She has barkskin, mainly. Couple of buffs which are interesting.

Problem is, i don't have those buffs on other characters and i end up always taking her in the party.

Is there another character i could use for those buffs? Or other buffs i could use to compensate?

I'm making a nature oracle, it should have barkskin and most of her buffs. Healing too. But... It makes my whole game about her.

This could be said about Nenio too. Don't like her? Hire a merc. Don't have gold? Toybox(merc prices are too big imo). But, yeah, Camellia is very good. Very nice AC, nice utility, Trickery etc.

without multiclassing you can turn daeran into a nature oracle wuth mythic feats and arueshalae should also have that spell in her ranger spell list

Most of her buffs can be taken with Daeran. Arueshalae has barkskin. So you can change camellia for these two if you need only her buffs.

I didn't like Nenio and used Woljif and Ember instead of her, they can cover all necessary arcana buffs and Ember is excellent offensive wizard (well, witch)

Don't like Woljif either. Idk. eScoundrel is ... meh. Feels like a Rogue version of Warpriest(or Magus), but completely meh. I know that we just had an AT in KM, but...

Ember is a very, very good character, from most perspectives. I just think that a StigmaWitch is a strictly worse LLG. Or Oracle for that matter. But StigmaWitch is a custom archetype built just for Ember. And Stigma actually allows you to abuse Beneficial Curse. But I fully believe that a LLG is better.

MC/Daeran/Arushalae/Amulets for Barkskin. There isn’t a substitute other than shaman MC for the hexes though.

shaman hexes stack with witch hexes, so evil eye goes from -4s to AC and attack to -8s and so forth. It’s a huge difference, and you only get it with a shaman in party; witch hexes don’t stack with each other (shaman don’t stack with themselves either, but that’s not topical here).

Daeran mytbic feat second oracle crap nature.

Btw my sexond feat nature cam trips ppl for free and does akot.of damage with elemental barrage. Shes also high 50s ac with gear and buffs. She can tip over 60. Shes a great character. But i can understand wanting certain members

I recruited a Druid mercenary to replace Camelia.

What? What would happen if both Ember and Cam casted Fortune? Do they stack?

roll 3d20, take the high (which would put any decent crit range into play on most attacks). I haven’t tested that; double protective luck is 3d20 take the low, and that makes someone pretty much immune to attacks that don’t hit on 2s.

But the jump from 2d20 to 3d20 for Fortune and Protective Luck (and Misfortune, but i don’t really use hexes that allow a save to negate) certainly isn’t as big an effect as -4s turning into -8s for Evil Eye.

I can see the dilemma since there are many useful non-natural armor amulets in WotR, much more thani in Kingmaker (it was really a no-brainer to stick an amulet of natural armor on basically everyone in KM, so barkskin's usefulness was limited).

By default, only Arue, Woljiff or Nenio can have barkskin. Or, as was noted, cleric / oracle with plant / defense domain, if you want to burn mythic feats on that.

Why would you even need a caster for barkskin? You should be able to buy potions of barkskin.
Conquista Jan 13, 2022 @ 4:13pm
the potion is capped on level 3 for a +2 natural enhancement bonus, but barskin scales till level 12 for a +5 natural enhancement bonus

Barkskin cast from a 12th level caster is +5 AC, potion is +2. And would cost a fortune to buff up your group at levels where a +2 amulet is unavailable.
