Does Golarion have an "Africa"?

Please note. I am not trying to start any socio-political debate, but being less familiar with the PF setting than others, I have what I would consider a pure lore question.

Is there a part of Golarion that is, functionally, its functional equivalent of "Africa"? And is that where black folks like Sosiel or Seelah are from ... or their ancestors?

(BTW: I assume the answer is yes - but I couldn't find a direct answer to this question on the various PF Wikis. I do know Tian Xen appears to be its "Orient".)

True, yes. But you could say that about much of the Northern Africa and even Turkey, now or at various points of history. There's been Arabs, Berbers, Moors, Saracens...
And, as it happens, so was Osirion ruled by Kelesh (=Persia) and Qadira, and has itself ruled much of the North Garund. Pathfinder writers weren't exactly going for originality there.

Of course, I just wanted to point that out, it's a habit for people to instantly mention Egypt when the topic of Africa and africans get brought up despite Egypt hasn't been controlled or even dominated by africans since the first I want to say Turkish invasion and at the most, the third invasion. You'll have to forgive me on that point it's been a while since I studied the history of Africa as a whole. But that doesn't deny that there is a lot of African blood that runs through some of its people, but the place does actively try to separate itself fro "africans".

yeah i agree with you though dont mind sewers as much, wished there was alittle water. Nearly every game ive played like this has at least 1 boat fight against some form of kraken since shining force 2. Wish the Airship part had you defending the ship.

I would I dont want to go into depth as this will spark problems with this thread but recently paizo bowed down and said it will not do slaverly in a story or so they claimed. I would enjoy seeing Cheliax!

And desert sewers....BRILLIANT.. Now they gotta sneak it in to dlc 1
