Suddenly missing 4th, 5th, and 6th level spell slots
Title. My Main character is currently missing multiple high level spell slots with no debuffs active on her. She is level 13 at present, and I am really starting to miss the presence of any higher level spells.

Spell level is based on the corresponding attribute. For Mages INT, for clerics/ranger WIS for sorccerer/bard CHA. Do you have some attribute damage that sets down this attributes?

You need at least 14 for level 4.

Unless you are a ranger and then the game is just bugged where you need like +2 casting stat

Herald caller Cleric. level 13, with a very high charisma score and 14 wisdom. I could use these spells before. And only have gotten stronger since. Now they are gone. character is meant to go lich later on.

GunStarX is right then, your game is buggy. Maybe make a bug report with a savegame attached?

I'll mention I've submitted a bug report for ranger like 3 different times

A cleric need a wisdom of 10 + spell level

So for example if you want to cast / memorize spells level 5, you need a wisdom of 15+.

What's the Ranger bug? Rangers initially get 0 castings per day at each Ranger level where they gain a new spell level (meaning they need bonus slots from high casting stat to cast it at that time) so might that be what you're encountering?

And to OP, as Mork said all cleric archetypes use wisdom as their casting stat. What perhaps happened is you previously had a wisdom-increasing item that you switched out for something else.

Double check your current stats. You might have been hit by a curse that you didn't notice at the time.

When I was going through the Ineluctable Prison, Seelah suddenly couldn't cast her spells, and couldn't memorize new ones; it turned out to be a curse. I ended up equipping her with a headband that raised her charisma enough to memorize Remove Curse. Note that a scroll of Break Enchantment didn't do anything - presumably a bug.

The bug is that with 14 wisdom you cant cast level 4 ranger spells. This is the only class I've encountered where it doesnt match the rule (havent tried them all). As a full BAB class you do not build your character with a higher stat than you need.

So a character with Ranger levels anywhere from 14-20 AND with 14 WIS doesn't have a single level 4 slot open? If so definitely an odd bug.

Yes exactly, and it happens with lower level spells if you have less wisdom. I discovered this bug making wenduag a ranger since she starts with 12 wisdom.

I just respecced a level 14 Wendaug into Ranger and the spellcasting seems to be working properly. At 1 Fighter 13 Ranger with 13 wisdom, she has slots for spell levels 1-3 but can't cast Level 4 because her wisdom is less than 14. If I add +2 with a headband for a total Wisdom of 15, the message changes to "This character does not have the slots to memorize spells of this level", as it should be since level 13 rangers have 0 level 4 slots.

Apparently it's just my game. My MC demonslayer has the same issue
