You need at least 14 for level 4.
Unless you are a ranger and then the game is just bugged where you need like +2 casting stat
GunStarX is right then, your game is buggy. Maybe make a bug report with a savegame attached?
So for example if you want to cast / memorize spells level 5, you need a wisdom of 15+.
And to OP, as Mork said all cleric archetypes use wisdom as their casting stat. What perhaps happened is you previously had a wisdom-increasing item that you switched out for something else.
When I was going through the Ineluctable Prison, Seelah suddenly couldn't cast her spells, and couldn't memorize new ones; it turned out to be a curse. I ended up equipping her with a headband that raised her charisma enough to memorize Remove Curse. Note that a scroll of Break Enchantment didn't do anything - presumably a bug.
The bug is that with 14 wisdom you cant cast level 4 ranger spells. This is the only class I've encountered where it doesnt match the rule (havent tried them all). As a full BAB class you do not build your character with a higher stat than you need.
Yes exactly, and it happens with lower level spells if you have less wisdom. I discovered this bug making wenduag a ranger since she starts with 12 wisdom.
Apparently it's just my game. My MC demonslayer has the same issue
