Pathfinder has a slavery problem lol
You all see the post from paizo? "Pathfinder has a slavery problem" and paizo agrees! damn real world politics interfering with story telling in a fantasy universe? they have demanded it be removed from their universe. Will that impact future pathfinder games? madness.

which post you referring to?

So tired of woke politics in stuff that is clearly fictional entertainment, but guess they will dig themselves into a hole like most other franchises that go down the woke rabbit hole too much. Once you give a inch they will take it all, it's a circle without a end to it nothing is gonna be enough.

I'd still like to also see a link to this post.

Nothing in the game says slavery is good; in fact, one path razes the slave markets to the ground (though some evil inclined characters can participate).

The slave market battle to free the slaves I did as an angel was one of the most enjoyable ones, so I'm not really sure where the problem is. Maybe the people who made this argument haven't even played the game? That would be my guess.

guessing it wont impact this game but possibly future games that feature slavery as a main story element.

36000 subs - not enough to make a significant difference.
Please don't give that channel any more.

Those writing these kinda articles don't really care about facts, they will add their own political opinion spin some aspect to make it sound differently, to create outrage and generate clicks by weaponizing something. They're basically hoping it will generate enough outrage to become the new crusade talking point for a couple of months so they can sell clicks for their game journos news outlet.

In other words they basically live of creating buzz around their articles by sowing division and creating a toxic environment within fanbases, hoping some fans get angry enough to attack their articles so they can write about how awful and toxic fans they are.

Yah, funny part is how they advocate against toxicity, yet everywhere they go those franchises get increasingly more toxic, funny how that works?

Just angers me that they cant see past their own views? Just because I enjoy a story based in a setting doesnt mean I agree with every single character or viewpoint of that setting. You don't have to be represented in a character to enjoy a character and his/her story.

Yeah because literal demons in literal abyss apparently should have rainbows all over and everyone should be positive, free, and happy there.
Totally makes sense.

We will protest as long as the only media remaining is cuddly bears hugging each other (of course with consent to consent to consent form signed)

Wait, is there an actual post from paizo (I could not find it) or is it just some youtuber stirring up controversy over some crazy persons ramblings?
seeker1 Dec 15, 2021 @ 7:27am
Seems to me like the latter. If there was an actual post from Paizo, I can't find it.

Yes, tubers will stir up ♥♥♥♥ that means nothing for views and clicks ... this seems to be a tempest in a teapot.

So some idiot wrote Paizo telling them to take slavery out of their games (regardless of how it is portrayed or displayed). Yeah. So? Next? He's an idiot and I can't see where they're going to do that.
