How to switch from spell to melee in Turn Based Mode

I can switch to different spells but can't figure out how to choose my weapon?

Äh switch between spells? you just choose a spell in the appropriate menu. The same is for weapon slots. On the right of the ability bar is the menu for weapons. You also can go in the inventory an click on weapon slot you want to use.

If I'm understanding your question right, make sure you do not have auto cast turned on. If you right click a spell it will be used at your default attack. It will show on the left side of your hotbar as a little 'page' that sliden out. If you have that, it means you are auto casting a spell. You need to turn that off, and it will default to your weapon then.

ah, ok. The auto-cast is what must be occurring. Now to figure out how to turn off auto-cast....

Right click on the hotbar icon that you used to turn on the auto cast to begin with.
