I am a necro shaman, I spammed his behind with animate dead while cam cam poked with a reaper, lann shot him with arrows, and the paladin chick just tried not to die! With heals coming from ember and the Oracle dude.
It was a battle of attrition mostly for me can I keep him flooded with corpses long enough for him to die.
Main charcter is fighter/scholar of war. Lann is my zenarcher/spawn slayer. Paladin chick is paladin. Derea is still oracle and mainly healer. Custom Mecenary as Scaled Fist Monk. Carmellia is spiritshaman/rouge and mainly used as melee combatant / trickery.
So far this core group was very successfull.
We carry alot of scrolls with us, as main char has use magic device, so we are ususally can react to different enemies. But we have only 3 death ward left. Casting owls wisdom for will, but it is not enough for the mulitple mass holding.
I tried to sparse out so he hit only some charcters, with some success, but the unlucky ones get beaten by the gouhls.
Edit: forgott to mention the main char is on the angel path, and has some rays against gouhls.
If you have evil eye on Camilla she can use it to reduce AC
for the nabasu if you don't have death ward because you are underleveled prepare a bunch of undead summons, if you somehow don't even have level 3 spells I don't know what to tell you there. undead are immune to level drain.
use your archer to hit it from outside his aura, and help the case with some damage spells. iif your spells can't hit neither due to spellresistance, use conjurations like snowball, acid arrow and selective grease.
There are skills you should have at this level like evil eye on either ember or camelia (that will give it -2 to AC of enemies and or fortune hexes with either of them, both are must for any martial based build. the second allows you to reroll all your attacks and get the best result. also ember might be able to slumber the nabasu I do not think it is immune so if everything else fails you can keep trying to slumber it till it rolls a natural 1 and then coup de grace it.)
If you can do nothing of the above, you have seriously messed up your builds :(.
Also ideally you should be able to cast 4 level spells for that encounter.
In kingmaker I abused the mass skeleton spam, so I wanted todo something else in Wrath and have no dedicated summoner available. For this speciifc fight some "cannon fodder" would be good, but not available.
I got a tankard wich can summon a strong creature with bow and sonic attacks (name forgotten). Otherwise it's only Summon wolf stuff, which dies fast.
For debuffs I have to check ember, she has some hexes. But I would need to go back change the party.
What buffs are you running with? I tend to enlarge my archer and then give him the hurricane arrow buff. Also I like to keep an blur or the improved version on my Frontline
Wait, that mythic rank actually did something? I didn't notice, I used up all my undead in that fight with everyone else just chilling 😂😂
one of the items I use is the covenant of the inheritor.... put that on one of you characters and activate it to turn all attacks as good aligned for all characters.... its an aura.... item you get from collecting parts by end of Act 1 and show to storyteller before he leaves in Act 2.... only downside is you have to reactivate it anytime you load into a new area or load a save..... or wake up from a rest.... so I put it on Seelah's hotbar next to mount button lol....
I also have my main as a sorcerer so I usually cast a few dispels on him to try to remove buffs...
I have seelah smite evil on him.... her on horse and stay in his face.... while Lann picks off the smaller undead.... my main sorcerer or Nenio would use haste spells... buff prefight with seelah aura of resolve to prevent fear.... communal spells of protection from evil and chaos... bless..... go for its touch AC with your casters... metamagic wands.... use the tankard for azata's.... also dont rush going at him with your characters..... unless you have too.... I only have Seelah and horse rush in to him..... and try to let the other friendlies rush at him instead..... they are pretty much cannon fodder for a few rounds... pick off a few undead with Lann in the back and they start making their way to him instead of the undead in the back..... and big bad attacks them when its his turn instead of moving to your squishy characters...
also Im going Azata route so I have instrument of freedom ability.... think angel route has something similar.... but I can cast 1-2 of them and it knockes his health down to half health pretty fast if I can hit.... use mythic skills to blast him...
The undead came in first and couldn't even stand straight in Grease so they died fast. Then the Nabasu came in all alone and tried to swat once because it spent it's Move Action walking into Grease. In response I gave it a Smite Evil and Evil Eye and everyone went to town, though Regill's OP hooked hammer takes most of the credit.
My headcanon is no self-respecting Knight Commander would walk right into an open space surrounded by archers and casters and decide it's a good idea to fight there!
