Shrine of the Three
Has there ever been something with worse design than Shrine of the Three? How is this entertaining? Someone explain to me how a sane person could design, create and test this and think "Yeah this is FUN!".

Zero feedback as to what this gimmick garbage wants you to do. Pulling leavers does nothing and says nothing. Cleansing statues does nothing and says nothing. Enemies spawn indefinitely and spam dispels while ensuring they are unhittable without buffs.

This one decision to include this in game has single-handedly ensured I will never back any game by Owlcat again. I don't pay money to get insulted.... I pay for product I want to enjoy.

With mods? No. But you can do what I do: kick Seilkind out of Drezen once he appears in the court room. Failing that, ignore said NPC completely at the Barracks. That way you don't initiate the quests for the Old Sarkorian Mine. And thus not the Shrine of Three as well.

From all the kickstarter backer quests RPG Codex has concocted, this one is the worst. Double so for all RtwP players out there.

Its worth it to keep skellind in drezen. Do the first quest. It has several skill checks that give a LOT of exp. Also it has a sabertooth alpha that has a +4 necklace. That alone is worth doing.

As for the shrine of three, that is pure garbage. Avoid doing that. That is the worst thing I have ever played through on any game to date.

Ironically, I moved up from Hard to Unfair for Shrine of the Three. I was expecting to have a fair amount of trouble, but didn't really. Just remember to cast Communal True-Seeing on the party.

This quest is just so terribly broken. I finally won the cursed turn based fight, but now I canÄt interact with anything. Not the statues, not the water source, not the altars.

It is just frustrating.

Well then, I have enough. Shall the miners just die.

Not my favourite encounter, primarily due to it's bugginess.

First attempt on this play through I tried to convince Indarah to fight with me, I succeeded on the check which apparently was a big no-no.

Suddenly everyone one was marked as hostile on the turn meter and the context rings, by everyone I mean my party members too. Fortunately I couldn't actually target my party with attacks so I took it to be just a graphical/UI glitch, but then I noticed that Indarah was still attacking me and was targetable. No big deal I thought, maybe there just isn't a way to make her friendly, then I noticed that some of the enemy demons were fighting on my side...

I eventually bailed on that attempt because although I'd killed all the hostile demons, flipped all the switches (which apparently only remove the rune and context square, not actually prevent the trap from screwing you over) and clicking on the three shrines to prevent demon respawns I was treated to the never-ending return of Indarah. After "killing" her ~20 times I reloaded the auto-save.

Second attempt went smoother, didn't try and convince Indarah, killed all demons and disabled the 3 shrines. Still had the issue with the lever traps though, eventually found it worked better to just have Arueshalae disarm the trap square like any other trap, there's nothing quite like spotting the trap, pulling the lever, seeing the rune and the trap square vanish only to run through the spot and still set off a Rift of Ruin.

I have fought this encounter on Unfair, and found it OK. True Seeing, Communal is important to bypass Mirror Image. My MC and main striker both have a very high Mobility skill and Indomitable Mount, so Rift of Ruin is only a minor inconvenience.

When I did this most recently, some of the interact icons on the statues weren't showing up, but after a bug report, showed up the next day when I reloaded the map.
