Does it break the game to respec your MC in Chapter 3?
I picked the angel path and did the quest with the angel and the star gazers in chapter 3. Can I respec my main character now?

Sure. From my knowledge you can't change your mythic once you've made the late game choice in act 5. Other than that you should be fine.

Nice. I thought maybe doing a quest requiring the angel mythic, as I did, would cause problems.

Can anyone else confirm this?

Should be fine. Only path where respeccing can cause bugs that I've seen was Azata, and specifically spell progression for Aivu. You just won't be able to switch paths, but that is expected.

If I respect in chapter 3, I can't change paths?

No you can't. In fact if you use the in-game respec it won't even allow you to change paths, you will be forced to pick the same path(s) at mythic 3 and up you had before. The respec Mod allows it, but that will break things.

Good to know. I don't want to use mods on my first play through.

Best solution to avoid the slog of the first 2 chapters is have a generic run up until the point you get rank 3. Save at that point, and then you can just load from there. You can then respec your class and mythic ranks up to the second, and pick the path you want right for rank 3 onwards.
For reference: that point would be right before you get to raise the banner/sword of valour on top of the citadel, prior to fighting you know who to capture Drezen.

Good idea. I will look for that save.

It was very helpful. But if I reset it, my character's Alignment History is reset, too.
Is there any problem?.
ex)Dialogue choice Consequence =>Companion Quest Ending Route, favorability status .. Is it safe?

Can I proceed with it with confidence??

Your alignment will indeed be reset if you use Toybox, then you pick a new one. This should not affect quests, which is good because you can move on, but bad because your choices from earlier do stick. So if e.g. you picked Lann instead of Wenduag in Ch1, you are stuck with him. Unless you are feeling really adventurous with Toybox - I would not recommend that.
PS: If you had any specific options due to race, you keep the results but future quests might not continue (e.g you get the Thiefling ring from that quest, but are no longer a Tiefling)
