I always liked the idea of Seelah being mounted but I hated the horse in my first playthrough (it's too large and in the way for inside maps, and the hooves are loud as ♥♥♥♥, and wolves are cool I guess) and was a bit upset that paladins apparently get no choice for what animal companion to choose and HAVE to pick horse.
this is the guide I'm using: https://www.neoseeker.com/pathfinder-wrath-of-the-righteous/builds/Seelah
from there: "Oracle is there for good pet progression. Couldn’t be done any other way. "
so my understanding is once I get to level 5 paly with her, I'll be able to continue her divine bond ability with the oracle wolf instead of with a horse. I havent gotten there so hopefully the guide isnt lying to me lol
I do also wish there was a convenient way to give Regill a Velociraptor to ride into battle, just because that'd be some dumb fun, but he's already 6 levels into other classes when you get him. Too bad the hellknight domain feature doesn't include animal domain.
Its a pet peeve of mine that so many creators do all this content on the betas, and have moved on to another game when it actually releases and their stuff is out of date.
ah shoot, now that you mention it I see that the comments are all from like march. how irritating. guess I'll be respecing
just hit level 6 and wanted to let you know that it let me continue Seelah's progression with the wolf companion, so no horse.
pretty glad it works after finding out this build is from beta lol!
