Lich Repurpose spell - wondering if I'm missing something
As title - when I cast the spell and then kill the target, it just dies. Does it have to die from the d6 per round it is taking? When I just line it up for the kill, it never 'repurposes' as the spell description implies. Wondering if this is a bug or I'm doing something wrong. I've seen others talking about how nice the spell is. Feels like a wasted slot rn.

Sometimes it works for me and sometimes it doesn't. I'm not sure what is going on with it. But that's just one of the many things that don't seem to work right atm in this game.
I do know you have to get out of combat before it will rise. Also note that often times it will have very few HP so it needs to be healed with negative energy.

I had the spell work correctly (repurpose in particular) in the earlier levels, but now I too have noticed that the mobs don't rise anymore. It shouldnt matter what they die to exactly, as long as the debuff part is on them..

I dont know if its a bug with the spells themselves (flay for purpose, doom for purpose) or the update messed up something.

It should work that you put the spell on an enemy, they die during the fight to whatever, then after the fight is over they should rise as your temporary ally and stay that way until you leave the map. I HAVE had it work that way (repurpose specifically) so I wonder if its got bugged by a recent update..

To return to this, seems like the spell IS working somewhat correctly. Ive resurrected a Balor to fight for me. Its also possible to have multiple NPC units as undead servants at the same time.

I had a weird glitch though, I killed someone with flay for purpose and once they resurrected, they had a weird damage-over-time effect on them which they simultaneously healed. It was as if the DoT from the repurpose spell lingered over their death..
