Scrolls and Potions Not Working on Filth Fever - Stuck

It's day four, and right before the messenger found me, I was clearing out an old building near the town square, close to where you find Ember. There were some rat swarms inside (I'm so, so sad to see these are still a thing), and now most of my party has Filth Fever, and I'm trapped in the in prior to the attack.

The tooltip is pretty worthless (it only details the stat effects; doesn't tell you if it's disease or sickness, doesn't tell you how to get rid of it, etc.), and I'm seeing a lot of conflicting information out there on what I should do. Here's what has not worked. Remember, all that's available to me is what's being sold by the vendors in the tavern, and it doesn't seem like you can cast anything while inside.

Scroll of remove sickness does nothing. Scroll of remove disease does nothing. Scroll of lesser restoration does nothing. Potion of lesser restoration does nothing. I tried resting it off, and it took 20-30 rests, well over ten days of in-game time, to get rid of the conditions for everyone. That seems a little extreme. Am I missing something?

I just tried a regular scroll of restoration (for a whopping 700 gp, and he's only got three of them) and that seems to remove the associated permanent ability penalties (dex and con), but not the fever condition.

Remove Disease is a check against the the DC of the disease. You frequently need to use it more than once if your caster level is low. Treat Affliction can work if you have a high Religion stat to try it with, but you only get one shot at it.
