Complete respec of companions?

My current game version is 1.2af and i installed both ToxBox (1.4.15) and the Respec Mod (2.6.1). Now my question is how exactly do i completely Respec my companions as to change their Level 1 class into anything i like?

If i try to use the Respec Mod ingame nothing happens after i click 'submit (0g)' no matter what option i choose.

If i try to use ToxBox' Respec it either doesn't remove their predetermined class when Respec Mod is disabled or creates the equivalent of a mercenary overwriting the characters portrait, race, voice, etc.

The mod is verified to work. Have you tried re-installing the mod to confirm?
Other wise you can reach out to the moders on discord.

Barley is on there sometimes for respec, and Vek is very active for TTT.
Granted I think he is on a roadtrip at the moment.

I got both of your mod and my respec mod is working fine for MC and companion.

Do you have the latest version from Github :
https://github.com/BarleyFlour/RespecMod/releases

Edit : After looking at your respec Mod version, i think you are using Respecialization mod which is now outdated. Get the mod from my link to get your correct respec mod.

Hate to admit it but now i have another problem. Whenever i press 'complete' inside the character creator nothing happens. Any ideas?

From my experience, respec can bug because of :
- Using too many option during respec, like choose background, Retain skill dsitribution etc...
- Some option from Toybox. It seems a lot of thing from toybox can break a respec (like the ghestalt option for multiple level in different class) Maybe try to remove toybox, respec, then active it again.

If it doesnt work, it might be an other mod (i suppose you removed your old respec mod) so remove then until it works.
Also i use UnityModManager, hope you use it too cause manuel mod install could be a source of problem.
