Can double slice work with my dex rogue?
I read that double slice will give you the dmg bonus if you have finesse training as a rogue or Mythic finesse feat. It's supposed to work with your str bonus, and my rogue has only 10 str. When I took the finesse training feat and double slice, I didn't see any increased dmg on my character stats. I am using the correct weapons with finesse feat. Am I missing something?

Working as intended. It applies your strength bonus to the damage. Your strength bonus is +0. It's adding +0 to the damage.

What I read was that if you take a rogue weapon finesse skill or the mythic weapon finesse feat, you can use your DEX bonus instead of your str bonus. Is this correct?

That would be incorrect. I've never encountered it working that way before. It should function exactly like it does in Pen and Paper: it will only apply your strength modifier to the damage. You should only take that feat if your dual wielder has a strength bonus to apply.

Thanks. I read that in a youtube video, and it didn't make sense. I don't want to waste a feat on it.

Wow, what a lot of misinformation.

Double slice does work with Dex rogues. I use it myself, and took it at level 3. Finesse training gives rogues Dex to damage, but the off-hand weapon only gets half the bonus. If you take Double Slice, the off-hand weapon gets the full Dex bonus.

Don't believe me? Save your game and try for yourself.

They did, and it didn't change anything. I've tried it many times as well and it's never worked that way for me. If it's a bug I'm not aware of then fair enough, there's plenty in this game already, but it has never applied that for my rogues.

Yes. DEX bonus replaces STR for Double Slice if you are, say, Knife Master Rogue that has taken Dagger Finesse Training. You can check it on the Information reels on the bottom right corner whenever you hit and deal damage.

I am using a knife master rogue and chose the dagger finesse feat. I went back and checked my save game before and after I chose the feat. It does appear that double slice did add dmg to his off hand weapon after choosing the feat. The dmg went from +4 to +8 after the feat. My dex bonus is +8. I must have overlooked this the first time.

Yep.

Good luck chopping all your enemies, fellow kitchen ware master.

Thanks! I am doing this build on a mercenary, so I miss the trickster path unfortunately. This is my first rogue character, so I'm still learning.
