Can someone explain how I can use Rage?
So I figured that when in rage you can't cast spells.
But turning 'Accept rage' off still gives my spellcasters the Rage effect.
Any solution?

Other than stand the spellcasters back when you cast it that is :)

that button for turning off rage is for the skalds inspire rage ability. if you are talking about the rage spell, you need to make sure you only cast that on your attackers and not your casters, because that will still make them rage if they are in the AoE

That seems like quite the oversight and missed opportunity for the modal. Rage is an underwhelming enough spell without the risk of hitting unwilling friendly casters as well.

its actually not bad if you use the skald, because it stacks with his inspire rage, and the aoe isnt too big. you just need to cast it on your front liners and keep your backline mages just outside of its AoE. but honestly your just better off using a skald if you wanna make your party rage and use inspire rage with lingering rage. you only need to click it and instantly turn it off and you get 3 rounds of rage per charge and it wont make your casters rage. i do use the rage spell from time to time, but normally inspire rage is plenty in most fights, and at lvl 12 they can give anyone thats raging the ability to pounce, which is an insane power spike for your melee characters as they can now charge and then full round attack all in the same turn.

I'm actually using a bard but found some nice items that give bonuses on rage so thought I'd cast it. First time I didn't remember that you can't cast. Second time I removed the accept rage and was surprised that it didn't work. Didn't know it applies to the scald. Haven't played that class yet.

ya the skald is just a better bard. instead of inspire courage, its inspire rage. they get bonus metamagic at lvl 1, they have a great spell list. its a very good support class, and at lvl 12 it becomes insanely powerful when you can pounce, because things like mythic charge will apply all of its dmg to every attack during your pounce. and if you have a cavalier, its down right broken to be able to charge and pounce. im currently level 12, and my cavalier can open up any fight with a charge and attack before the enemies even know im there, and he can open up any fight by killing the boss/hard enemy before they even know a combat has started. on a charge my cavalier does over 350 dmg per attack on a crit with a 45% crit chance, and he gets 4 attacks while hasted and has cleaving finish to even attack more and he has all the stuff that gives attacks of opportunity on a crit from someone else that you threaten, which counts for his mount.
