Help with mythic path choice :)
I'm kinda newbie here to the game, still learning things. I was interested in trying a possible rogue class character i didn't know if i should try demon or something else that would fit that class or if other people had some suggestions for a mythic path i should try to work towards? I'd be grateful for any tips people could share. ♥

Lich is the only acceptable answer.

Depends what you want to do exactly. Both Trickster and Demon make for fun Rogue characters in their own right.

Trickster is all about absurd skill usage, pranks and absurd sneak attack and critical progression. Perfect for a Sylvan Trickster or Knife Master for example.

Whereas Demon is more the mugger kind of Rogue. That path makes you harder to kill and has some nice Demonic Aspects that go well for the class: Aspect of Babau increases sneak attack, Aspect of Shadow Demon makes you incorporeal during rage and Aspect of Pazuzu makes you move 30ft faster with an additional attack. If you want to go for a Rowdy or Thug then this is the path.

Demon rogue sounds very interesting, is there a guide or game play build you could recommend :-)

Classes that aren't alignment locked...aren't alignment locked.

Demon doesn't fit Rogue any better than any other path because Rogues can be of any alignment. That said, Slayer is just 'rogue but better' so I'd what I'd recommend instead.

What I can do is break them down by major themes.

Angel: Righteous punishment or mercy and redemption.
Azata: Freedom, whimsy, or being a dumbass.
Demon: might makes right.
Aeon: LAW, law but for the good of society, law twisted for your own good
Lich: Also might makes right but in a more dry emotionless kind of way.
Trickster: lolsorandom (this one is dumb)

Trickster is wild. How about a skill that paralyzes all enemies at the start of combat and you don't even have to cast it.
Princess Pilfer Mar 29, 2022 @ 8:07am
It's dumb. I don't really care how powerful it is it's 'lolsorandom' and I *hate* that kind of thing. Fishmalk nonsense needs to stay in 'comedy' games where it belongs.

You could always go for Aeon and then fail so dramatically as a judge that you get an offering to become a Devil.
That sounds like a really rogue-ish thing to do (also funny as an RP concept)

You need to do some specific things to unlock many of the mythic paths. Angel and Demon you pretty much get by default, and Aeon is easy to get. Most of the others you will likely miss if you don't know exactly what to do.

Trickster is pretty easy to get. Lich as well presuming you know that the game has a Lich path. Of the initial six, I'd only classify azata as able to be missed.
Princess Pilfer Mar 29, 2022 @ 12:45pm
Azata is very easy to get on accident. All you have to do is not follow the orders of an obvious paranoid psychopath?

ok so real quick recap i gotta ask, if i dont do rogue what do you suggest for demon playthrough or lich playthrough, like can lich be melee build? i saw a suggestion stating that slayer was better than rogue?
Darx Mar 31, 2022 @ 6:51am
all mythic paths are compatible with all classes. they made sure that everybody can pick everything. just some classes fit a little better for some mythic paths.
in demons case i would say warrior or barbarian fits the most
Schlumpsha Mar 31, 2022 @ 7:04am
Being a Demon Dancer (Skald archetype) going Demon path is pretty entertaining. Other combinations are Hagbound (Witch archetype) or a Sorcerer with Abyssal Bloodline for their permanent Strength boost if you like melee casters. Brown-Fur Transmuter can also be an option if you want to focus on the Demon's polymorph spells which transform you into various kinds of demons. Barbarian and Bloodrager are obvious choices as well. There is also a Brawler class mod floating around that meshes well with this path.

If you don't mind giving up on merged spellbooks, then Lich is fun for a varity of classes. Blight Druid, Oracle with Bones mystery, Shaman with Bones spirit, Hex Channeler (Witch archetype), Dirge Bard, Dark Elementalist (Kineticist archetype), or Vivisectionist (Alchemist archetype) come to mind. A pure warrior type is also possible if you wish. Though it may overlap with the Lich's undead companions somewhat: you already get a Slayer, a Cavalier, a Fighter, a Warpriest and eventually a Thundercaller (Bard archetype).

Well it is said, that you can't do further than one step from the default mythic path aligment or get struck in mythic path progression. So there are no mythtic lvl 10 and lvl 20 paladins/monks of the Demon, Trickster and Azata path possible. Paladins are also locked out from the evil paths, so they can propavly only Angel, Aeon, Gold Dragon and Legend without issus with either ur class or mythic progression,

All the rouge like classes (rouge, alchemist, Bard/skald, slayer) are safe for any path.

Seems nobody's answered this yet.

So I have my druthers with some info there, but this section of the Fextralife Wiki is very good.

https://pathfinderwrathoftherighteous.wiki.fextralife.com/Mythic+Path

Info on all the paths, how to unlock them, when you get them (i.e. late/early), what abilities you get at what rank.
