Alushinyrra is awful

I am so close to getting through this slog but my interest is almost gone, please tell me it gets better after this. I have this bug where my party will not enter certain houses, randomly cant use the coins to portal around and have to manually walk back to the nexus. Its like the wildhunt section from Kingmaker, just frustrating and tedious.

Honestly chapter 5 is where my interest dropped off the map. It didn't help that the game throws away nuisance and railroaded me to doing something I had no interest in doing with my character. And I also learned that galfrey doesn't give the lexicon back if your a lich. While I listened to every effing post that said she does five it back if you give it to her ruining to Ascension run I was doing on my lich. I honestly couldn't finish the game.

really struggling to continue on,the slog thru this city looking for camera angles portals and climbing spots just is not fun.
i jump in do a quest which takes awhile due to getting there and my motivation is gone,who at owlcat genuinely thought this would be fun?

Yeah I stopped playing in this mess of a city. I was very frustrated that I was disposed as commander and have go into hole to the underground. It would be better if we could just march our armies and beat the ♥♥♥♥ out of Deskari.

Well you do get back to the normal world map, so it does get better in that regard. I did not care for Demonvile either, but got back into it after.

That city section convinced me that greater enduring spells is the best mythic ability in the game, no contest.

Is that what the coins were for? I never did figure out what the coins were for...

The only bug I had in Act 4 was one where sometimes on the third tier your movement would get completely borked. You would click on the ground to move to a point (during combat) and the character would move in a completely different direction, often directly opposite. Happened for NPCs/opponents too. Had to have been a weird pathing problem associated with the moving islands.

But overall I found the city and encounters fun. Thought it was amusing that a few groups of demons would just jump you. Liked that you could use dimension door to find some interesting loot as well as a few nasty enemies.

I've never understood how people have so much trouble navigating this area. You can fast-travel to most key locations after being there once, and all you have to do to change the scenery is rotate the camera or use dimension door.

I actually thought Chapter 4 was one of my favorite chapters. Parts of it reminded me a lot of Planescape Torment. I just wish I got to explore more of the abyss outside the city itself, though supposedly DLC3 will provide a bit of that type of content.

I, for the record, really loved this city. Kinda wish the whole game was there and that it were bigger...

pretty sure that if the whole game was like that city 70% of ppl woulda refunded inside the 2 hour mark :D

Yeah, you aren't the first to complain and I get that the game isn't just for me. Still, I really liked that town.

No one has trouble navigating it lol. It's just tedious to do so.
