Areelu Vorlesh Broke Me

I tried. I tried hard. My hard/unfair (I like to respec) run came to an end at that fight. It was a stalemate for most of that fight. Quite possibly if all mythic abilities worked as stated I may have won eventually. But that didn't happen. I had to do the one thing I had never done to that point. It was cheese time. I used dispel magic, greater until she was stripped naked. That fight became a joke which is what I tried to prevent.

On a scale of 1-10 how much cheese was that? I may redo this fight again without cheese if/when mythic abilities work as intended.

you have to dispel her.
Her buffs are ridiculous and so custom to her that some of them don't even have description or titles lol.

It isn't cheese it the only way to get her stats down to a fight able level.

No cheese is save scumming in hope of rolling a 20 of rainbow pattern to facinate the barbarian chief in wintersun to then spend then next 10+ rounds dispelling or trying to dispell all his crap before you fight him.

On a scale of 1-10 I rate it slightly, but not all the way yellow. That is, it's not even on the scale. It's a legitimate ability. Remember Baphomet's Word?

Yeah greater dispel helped a lot for me on hard. Also - her 50% concealment might be negated with ghost bladed weapons. Maybe.

I hate it, the final fight in the game, as - well seems to depend on playthrough, but it usually is on a timer. Second encounter like that. It's not just that you have to defeat her, it's your opportunity to defeat her is on the clock so to speak.

I hate that in any game.

I finished my unfair run yesterday. I killed her twice. I didn't dispel anything. Angel mythic path.

My attack bonus was 88 before flanking + outflank, freebooter's bane, evil eye and the angel weapon debuff. A total of 8 attacks on my main with 5 attacks at highest BAB. My second melee was 87 i believe and 7 attacks with 4 at max BAB. Both mainly two-handed STR Sword Saints.

Her caster level must be insane and the last time i checked even rolling a 20 doesn't dispel stuff.

There is an item ingame that let's you roll 20 once a day on you dispel magic. I tried it once and it worked but nothing was dispelled because even then the enemy spell DC was higher than my total dispel roll. Maybe it doesn't count as a natural 20? And that is the last time i tried to dispel anything. Anyway all content in the game is doable without it.

No idea. I've used them: the Googles of Pure Sight item + dispel magic once in the entire game to try out that 20 roll item but it did not dispell anything so i gave up on that.

But wait i'll reload a save and see what comes up. I will try it on her.
