Military Rank 8

Anyone knows how to get it?

My rank simply stopped increasing. In my previous rank up I heard that the strategist Balor was taking defensive tactics against my army and I wondered if he was planning some ambush again or whatever but nothing happened.

Should I recruit more folks or go somewhere?

I remember in my first playthrough that all my stats maxed at 7.... apparently though for a certain ending you need to get them to 10 so now idea how that happens.

if you reached military 8 one additional stationary demon army will spawn and you have to defeat it for some extra stuff

It can go up to 10? Are you sure?

All of my other ranks seemed to max at 8 and even the reactions of my companions seemed to imply that at rank 8 its the peak of glory for the Commander in that regard.

Not at all, just read a guide about it some time ago it might be wrong....replaying the game and trying things I missed now so ...

It's capped at 8. If you are having trouble levelling it up - on some playthroughs there is a lack of events that give + to military at that point - you have to buy units. I was stuck on the same thing and someone kindly forked out that tip.

The crusade stats are all capped at rank 8. Military stat is increased by buying units.
