Eyes of the Bodak bugged?

I don't know why but this spell stopped buffing my character. The animation simply breaks after casting it and nothing happens. In my another saves this spell working fine, but on my main playthrough character save it seems to be broken. Is it normal behavior for this patch or i broke something?

I understand now. It is wenduag questline ruined my Eyes of the Bodak skill, so be careful about that if you're playing as lich and romancing wenduag before the final form.

try to use it without bone shield spell i had a problem with eyes of the bodak aswell it stops working when bone shield spell is active on the character
