Trickster Council Question (spoilers)
So, in my first meeting with the powers that be here. I have an option to bluff everyone but Shyka.

Does bluffing them do anything later on or is it just free xp at this point? I'm asking full spoilers here, Google Fu be really letting me down on this one. Found a whole Reddit thread (https://www.reddit.com/r/Pathfinder_Kingmaker/comments/plv99s/trickster_mythic_path_question/) where all the comments on this same question was "lol, be a Trickster bro". Please don't do that :UnamusedOwlcat:

As far as I could tell there was no impact. At least nothing happened that was obviously a result of the bluffing.

Imma keep a save here just in case I guess, but I guess it's free xp if no one knows about it. I feel like this was one of the more popular mythic paths to take so I figured by know there'd be an answer somewhere on the internet haha

I bluffed everyone all through chapter 3 and nothing really happened, but I ended up changing my path in chap 5 so I don't know what happens after that. I feel like itll probably be beneficial tho; its rare passing a skill check gives a worse outcome + it feels like sowing chaos to an ineffective group would have some unforeseen positive outcome.

It's a bit dumb. The only possible impact is if you mess up something later on by accident or decide to backstab the adorable Socothbenoth, and why would anyone do that intentionally? 😍

They all attack each other if you keep on the trickster path and don't do all three pranks for Soco and kill S. I am unsure if they still kill each other if you do that part "properly".

People are pretty stupid when it comes to talking about trickster path info. If it's not "lol trickster" it's "honk honk."

Ooooh ok, that's interesting. I passed all those bluff checks so we'll see what happens in that scenario in like...80 hours worth of more play time. I'll report pack for anyone Goolging in the future haha

They do not attack if you do all pranks.

Did anything happen? :)

I didn't do that - and had to regret in Act V.
If you pass most of these checks in Act III, you'll get the easiest way to complete a mythic quest in Act V, if not - you'll have to take a harder one.

Thank you!

Hope me messing with the council won't lock Socothbenoth flirting storyline for me LMAO (I don't even know if there is any romance, haha, please, please let there be one )

Oh no, for flirting with Socothbenoth you'll still have to take the hardest way in that quest )) So, bluffing in Act III won't lock it, but won't help either.

Neoseeker guide says this:
Here are the potential scenarios that can happen:
  • Pranked Nocticula - Nocticula will attack the Council and the Council members will share their essence in appreciation for your help (Crossroads Ending)
  • Did not prank Nocticula
    • Told Nocticula about Prank - Nocitcula will attack the Council
      • Side with the Council - Council members will share their essence in appreciation for your help (Crossroads Ending)
      • Side with Nocticula - Council members can't object to you taking their essence (Crossroads Ending, with some extra text)
  • Did not tell Nocticula about Council
    • Instigate Fight (Council Messed with successfully 8+ times (out of a potential 11)) - You can instigate a fight among the council members, after which they can't object to you taking their essence (Crossroads Ending)
    • Instigate Fight (Council not Messed with successfully 8+ times) - Your attempts to instigate a fight fail
    • Don't attempt to instigate a fight - They refuse to share their essence (Nirvana Only Ending)

So.... it influences the endings.
