New Sorcerer Workaround for Bloodline Selection
After some fiddling, if you start by selecting Empyral Sorcerer and go through until after you've selected your spells, you can go back through and change your subclass and select the bloodlines you like. I believe the game takes this as having selected a bloodline and then changing works. Hope it works for you as well!

PS. only know for sure it works in original creation, but i believe it should follow for regular level up :)

I like this since it looks like you made a smart understanding on how the CharacterGen sheets works, effectively bypassing an issue which has been troublesome for days. It is also more reliable than fiddling around by going forward and backward and hoping that the trigger fits or not. Good job in in coming up with this workaround ~

I deinstalled the Game, added the Beta, installed with the Beta, which is 1.1.0d I think, created my sorcerer. Saved in kenabres. Exit game, disable Beta and get latest patch, 1.1.0k and loaded the game. Works for me sofar.

I can provide a way with 1.10k without mods.

  1. Choose Crossblooded Sorcerer for levelup until you reach Bloodline selection.
  2. Select the first bloodline.
  3. "Next" on the bottom navigation will be disabled.
  4. Click on "Back" on the bottom navigation.
  5. "Next" on the bottom navigation will still be disabled, but you go forward to the next screen via the top navigation (which list all the steps before levelup completion.
  6. Click on the "Bloodline" tab on the top navigation.
  7. Select the first bloodline again. But the difference here is the next tab option can be clicked on the top navigation.
  8. Click on next tab in the top navigation (should be Sorcerer Bonus Feat).
  9. Select Feat but you will realise that "Next" in the bottom navigation will still be disabled. And the next tab on the top navigation is also not accessible yet.
  10. Repeat the steps 4-5 to go 1 screen back and forward again. This is to get the next screen tab to be come clickable via the top navigation.
  11. Doing this you can go through the levelup process until you reach spell selection tab "Spells Level 1".
  12. On the spell selection screen it will be completely blank, and you can't proceed any further.
  13. Exit the levelup screen completely via the button on the top right corner.
  14. Now redo the levelup of Crossblooded Sorcerer on the same character. You should be able to levelup to completion now.

A quick bypass is to select your feat, then instead of selecting the next button, select the bloodline button in the top bar which should be clickable now.

A bunch of tips were created over the past week. There should be a hotfix soon, if not a patch - considering the amount of reports and issues cause by that.

@アンジェル

You can remove my second post. That was from an earlier attempt to figure out the leveling. The first post is more current, and I can replicate the behaviour consistently.

Done. Thanks for your help, mosspit!

If you want help, you need to share more details about your specific case. Or wait for a patch.

I was able to select fey and serpentine bloodlines by avoiding mousing over the draconic bloodlines, which might be triggering the bug. Just used the scrollbar and selected very carefully.

I did some testing and I concur.

If I am not mistaken, the issue is with the draconic bloodlines. If you only just mouse over, the explanation screen will show a long list of prerequisites. This prerequisites list might have interfered with the validation of the bloodline selection, causing validation to bug out and prevent players from advancing the screens.

2 ways I have found that can bypass.

  1. Mouse over any one of the Draconic Bloodline option and click to select one of them immediately. Then re-select your intended bloodline if you do not want to use the Draconic bloodline.
  2. Use the search bar to search and select the bloodline you want directly. Carefully avoid mousing over the Draconic Bloodlines when doing so. If you accidentally open up the prerequisites list screen for any Draconic bloodline, go to step 1.
  3. if somehow you mouse over the Draconic bloodline and select other bloodline to hit the bug, exit out of the leveling process and start again.

These 2 methods can be used on both New Games and mid progression.

Pls provide some feedback if this works for you.

It's the red dragon bloodline specifically. It seems that one has a broken/empty description, so as long as you avoid mousing over or selecting that one, you should be fine.

Ah perfect the only blood line i wanted to pick is broken.

It also seems to be broken on blood rager to disciple as well. Im actually really surprised this has NOT been hot fixed yet, considering a prestige class is 100% broken/ unplayable.
