Nocticula fate on secret ending titles? *spoilers*
So if you don't choose to ascend, Nocticula becomes a Redeemer Queen, but if you do choose to ascend (on the same playthrough), she doesn't becomes anything and the text just says something about her staying in her realm.
What's the explanation for that?

you left behind a huge power vaccum with killing deskari and baphometh on the demon side and also did not close the worldwound

so sooner or later some war will break out again and her realm will be in the middle of it, so i guess she does not have the time to redeem and instead has to watch her realm up close

She does if Ember convinces her to become one. But as I said, the difference is with the same playthrough with a single difference of whether you decide to ascend before the end titles or not, so that what makes it weird.

"Deciding to ascend" involves manipulating Nocticula's trusted advisor Areelu into granting power Nocticula does not wish you to have. Going that route tanks your party's reputation in Nocticula's eyes which then causes Nocticula to turn against Ember's preaching. Not weird, just a consequence you have to live with if you make the choice to prioritize personal power and ascend.

Even more - Areelu hides that she too capable to close the World Wound and after it ascending with player. So it's logical for Nocticula to suspect that this was initial plan of Areelu and player character'd played his role by tricking demons and mortals all around. No way she would trust anything from hero or his followers after it.

Plus, ending slides are ending slides. There's no guarantee that she won't someday become the Redeemer Queen. It's just that she's not quite ready to do it at the end of the game (since she's got this whole new realm to pay attention to, scheme, and think about).

One more thing. When you talk to her in Act 4, she says she was initially pleased when the worldwound opened, since it gave her the chance to make her realm the crossroad of worlds. But she got upset after Baphomet and Deskari's goons started tramping around. You could always headcannon assume that if you act as a good neighbor, she may calm down and reconsider her ways.

In other words, the ending slides present an ending, but it's not necessarily the end of what could be. She may still yet become the Redeemer Queen.

I ascended as Azata and basically took Deskari and Baphoment's realms and turned them into my own happy place, but it still said something about Nocticula staying in her realm and fearing invasion. Oh well.

In my playthrough I ascended with Areelu AND Noctila became the Redeemer Queen.
