Mythic Weapon Finesse takes away from the rogue's Finesse Training (ie, without mythic content, only rogues add +dex to damage). They also get a lot more sneak attack than a slayer. I know in PnP they get more skills as well, but I'm not sure how they compare here.

I agree that rogue isn't the strongest class, particularly with mythic content, but I don't buy "Slayer is always better".

At least it's the Unchained Rogue as opposed to the Core Rulebook Rogue. If it was the core rogue I'd agree..

Unchained Rogue however is a powerhouse.

Dunno an eldrich scroudel with sorcerous reflexes quickening a scorching ray before doing a full attack would probably 1 shot your slayers and then kill another target

rowdy rogue would be great ranged or melee, I want to make one next playthrough or at least a mercenary. eldritch scoundrel is really fun too. and eventually, a legend arcane trickster would be nice

My rowdy rogue hits for insane damage without special positioning required. Just walks up and crushes things with an earthbreaker. I was doing 50 point crits in the intro. Only went up from there.

I have some fun ideas for a sylvan trickster I might do as a merc in my next playthrough.

For Kingmaker I would agree that Slayer is better. In WoTR, you have Rowdy, ES and Sylvan Trickster. Slayer is kind of weak in comparison to those archetypes, at least on core+.

and here i am with Woljif at around 70-80 AC as Greybor struggles to get above 68. dibilitating strike is a good debuff that helps the whole party, just make sure it hits first and you can do that with things like mark of justice and guarded hearth/touch of good.
