Vescavor in Drezen

I would like to know if there is a real advantage to use the vescavor mucus on Drezen, I know you lose some troops by doing so (and unlock swarm that walk) but outside of this ?

no other reason then swarm that walk

Some of the demon mobs are killed for you, but there are some vescavor swarms to deal with in their place, IIRC.
