Lizard Tail Belt?

I bought this recently and it seems like I'm misunderstanding it from the description. It says it can be used by polymorphed people and "less humanoid creatures." So I bought it to give to my pet (a hyperactive dragon). It's supposed to give +3 AC but it doesn't do anything. Is it only for polymorphed people? Is it a bug?

I bought it for an animal companion, and i can't get it to work either , maby it activates in combat ? If anyone know please share

I've tried equipping it on my Kitsune MC, both in human and fox form, and on Lann but it did nothing. Either it's bugged or the description is misleading.

the description says that it only works when you are "in polymorphed form". so it's pretty niche.

There Are some bracers that work when polymorphed . Works great on pets , but i have no idea about that belt

Kitsune's human form counts a polymorph, but to be fair I have yet to try it on a character using animal, elemental or dragon form.

That belt is for shapeshifted druids. They do benefit from that belt.
No clue why it wouldn't work on kitsunes in human disguise as it counts as polymorphed for other effects.
I suspect it won't work for magical transformations like dragon form either.
As far as I remember there is one single druid npc in the game but none of the companions qualify.

It is similar to other items that are very restrictive on classes, for instance in the crusade (act 3) you can get a relic which can be enchanted and is quite powerful but only works for monks.

Hi! Thx for the report. We will fix this belt in later patches, Clarify the wording and change the mechanics. It will work on creatures who polymorphed in non-humanoid creatures(whatever the source of the polymorph: spell, skill, mythic abilities), all pets, and Aivu. If we are lucky - next update, if not, one after.

i use this on neino with polymorph spells when i want to have a dragon with me. took me a min to identify it in the buffs, drop down tool tip but it seems to work.

Hmmm updates didnt seem to fix this belt. Playing today on hard mode, belt does not work on Aivu,my paladin's horse or any other animal companion in my party.
