Chapter 4 - Demon Mythic Quest and Greybor's Matter of Reputation

I completed Greybor's quest by beating up (but not killing) a certain prominent assassin. Problem is I only remembered afterwards that same assassin was the quest giver for my character's demon mythic quest. He has, naturally, disappeared after the fight. I do not have any earlier save files. Is there a work around or different way to complete the quest?
