should i give Galfrey the Lexicon of Paradox?

To be honest, I kind of hoped my Sorceress could keep it and use it herself, as some kind of tool. Maybe study it and start her own research.

If you're a demon, I'd recommend to keep it. There is another lady that would love to own that book... And she offers more in return than Galfrey.

Now, if you play a good aligned character, it would be a good (even a logical) idea to give it to the Queen, especially as an angel.

It's important for the secret ending. Although it might be a moot point anyway if you weren't already following a guide as it's pretty obtuse and you may have already failed the conditions.

If you want to unlock the hidden ending, you'll need the whole book, yes. And as a selfish lich it feels like the right thing to do anyway.

Giving it to her is only good if you aren't doing an evil playthrough.

Galfrey gives it back in act 5. There are reasons you may wish to have it during act 4, but the ultimate personal use of the book doesn't happen until the end of the game, so it's safe to give it to her in that regard.

Not sure about the evil paths. I would assume if she doesn't like you (perhaps because you are a ravenous swarm of bugs for example), you can probably take it back from her corpse

Honestly unless you really want to make a new friend in act 4, there's no harm in it. Like it's been said, she gives it back to you later, and giving it to her leads to some positive results. There's almost no down sides.

Of course, that's from a meta point of view. The roleplayer in me answers: do what your character would do.

in fact, if you are a demon, i recommend kicking that lady's ass

but i am curious if queen gives the book back if you are a demon/lich and dont wanna kill her

I got a super nice ending with my demon and I totally sided with her. I gave the lexicon, remainded loyal to the end and everything went fine.
She saved my *ss after I closed the worldwound, then she ascended to godhood ; my character inherited the throne of Alushinyrra, with nobody standing in her way, and began to rule over both the Midnight Isles and the abysall fortress of Drezen, with both Wenduag and Vellexia as her concubines .

or you can be an absolute chad, kick the ass of everyone who opposes you, then go for the ULTIMATE WIN and use your demonic rage to PUNCH WORLDWOUND OUT OF EXISTENCE

Well, thanks I didn't read those blackened out words. I think I already gave the first Lexicon to her (Queen) and I am a Demon Curoromancer...🤦🏾‍♂️and read the other one - Part 2, so wish they wouldn't allow that, but I can't remember.
