How is break enchantment supposed to be used?
From its description it sounds like it can be used to cancel bad effects, but when I try to use it all that happens is it dispels some of my buffs and that's it. Not any different than dispel magic.
Am I missing something? How is this spell supposed to be used?

Break enchantment is suppose to "break enchantments" by overcomming the enchantment spelllevel VS your own , so yes It's basically works the same mechanically as Dispel Magic !!

That spell was useless junk in P:K and from what I gathered, they didn't bother to fix it in WotR.

So it seems. A shame

Heck, Dispel Magic is near useless in PF:WotR. It tries to dispel extraordinary abilities, not just magical effects. Suffice to say, the most powerful "effect" is my angel's halo, and I tend to fail to dispel it....
