Align Weapon vs Bless Weapon

I have been looking at the prices of potions and a potion to bless the weapon costs 50, makes the weapon magical, good aligned and automatically confirms criticals against evil creatures.
A potion to align the weapon to good costs 300, but looks strictly worse (technically it is 1 level higher, so it lasts 2 minutes, still).
Am I missing something?

You're not wrong and have almost answered the question yourself. :)

Bless Weapon is a better version of Align Weapon: Good period.

However, Paladin's Bless weapon is Paladin specific. Align Weapon is available to pretty much all divine casters. Of course, you're using potions/scrolls so you don't care. :p

Align Weapon also allows you to align the weapon towards other alignments such as Evil, Chaos and Lawful thus bypassing those DRs.

The price difference is likely due to spell level and/or Align weapon being more flexible. So if you're only worried about evil creatures, only buy potions of Bless Weapon.

Ok, thanks for the information. The potions for align weapon actually come in 4 different types, Good/Evil/Lawful/Chaotic so there is no flexibility, you have to decide when purchasing.

Yeah I meant as spells in a spellbook, its flexible, because its all one spell with 4 different options. Just like Protection from Alignment spell. Spell version gives alignment options, potions/scrolls are set (but learning from a scroll will give you all alignment options as one spell).

Edit: I think the 300 costs is spell level based too. Bless Weapon is a spell level 1 paladin spell. Align Weapon is a level 2 Cleric, Oracle whatever divine caster spell.

i think align weapon is level2 cleric spell and bless weapon is level 1 spell pricing in pathfinder is something like 50-100 gp *caster level minimum caster level for align weapon is 3 so it should be somewhere around 200gp whereas bless weapon with caster level 1 wil be cheaper the duration of the potion should be different too one would last 30 rounds the other 10.

Is there a reason why Owlcat bothered to make Align Weapon but not Align Weapon, Communal? Did they think it would trivialize DR like Delay Poison, Communal trivializes poisons?

I just notice that scroll of blessed weapon and potion of blessed weapon does not work with fist. Either that or it does not stack with magic weapon buff.
