Threshold camp setup but cant rest

So im at the end. Cleared the first part of threshold and my crusaders setup camp right in front of the fortress, but I cant rest there. They have tents, an altar, and all my people are there standing around so it looks like i am intended to be able to camp and rest there but nada. It says "you cant rest here."

For those that have finished the game, are you supposed to be able to rest there? The fight before this was pretty intense so many of my companions have used all their high level spells and abilities. Also, you cant leave. There is no exit so am i just stuck trying to finish without resting?

Also the fight beforehand would have been fairly straightforward if they would fix the fear immunity granted by the spells and abilites I have. It's just so damn annoying.

anyone have an answer? is the camp at the entrance to threshold supposed to be a rest area?

i think you need to talk to the cleric npc for resting

And what can you do if you haven't reached that camp yet? I'm right before the last fight with Khorramzadeh and totally naked - no spells, no summons, no buffs. The battles before took everything out of my group. So I'm totally the weak in the last fight - especially since the helpers - Targona, Mephistopheles, the dragon etc. - are quite useless and half of them flee in fear (can you imagine a group of angels and a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ golden dragon flee in fear before they even enter the fight? This is so ridicolous!).

Engage Korr, run away wait till the npc's kill him, then deal with the vavakia/others. Or load a save before threshold and respec/equip different gear.

It's news to me that the helpers can do anything in that battle. In my battle, they all die after a few rounds or flee the battle area completely (Mephistopheles was at least gone at some point - I think he was dead then, too).
But thanks for your answer. Even if I think this is not a question of equipment, because naturally I equipped the best I have.

I did play a couple of patches ago on hard/unfair and he spammed all of his lightning then died to I think hal. I disengaged combat to heal/resurrect my pets and when I went back he was face down on the ground dead.

if you run them way back, there are other NPCs that can help. The queen included. Still a hard fight, only because of the ridiculous fear.

Yeah, Khor fight is hard. Finally won by spamming summons so he uses up all his chain lightining on them. He's easy kill after that but you still need to finish his 80 AC ally. Ranged touch attacks are your friends there. Still very rough.
