Extirpator's Camp bug

By the time I arrive at the camp my team is exhausted, but if I rest them I can't enter the camp. The loading screen takes a really long time for the last 5%, then just hangs there. If I go in exhausted, the screen loads normally.
Further, if I rest inside the extirpator's camp after entering, the screen goes black. I can see and move my cursor but nothing else.

Sounds more like an issue which is not related to the camp.

When you have an issue and start checking, make sure to make a general check to get faster to a possible solution:

■ Is the version you are playing the latest?

■ Are you using mods? If yes, do the issues still persist when you uninstall the mods?

■ Are the game files integrity still okay? After multiple patches there is no guarantee that some leftover files might lead to unknown issue which would usually be cured with a verification of game files.

■ Are you playing the game with combat in real time mode or turn based mode? If you are playing it in turn based mode, do the issues still persist when switching to real time mode?

■ Make sure to provide information which OS you are using. There are differences even between Windows versions which can lead to certain issues.

■ Keep your drivers up to date. You might be surprised how a corrupted file with video drivers, usb drivers, etc. could cause the game to crash. Before reinstalling the game after all files have been verified, you might want to make a clean reinstall your gfx card drivers first, as it turned out to be an uncommon yet not rare issue with crashes.

■ Send a bug report ingame by pressing ALT+B to open the reporting tool. Your save file and gaming system's specification will help the developers to identify special causes of rare issues.

I have this same bug, tried exhausting myself by running around and i can enter, without exhaustion it just hangs at 100%. tried it with and without mods, this is with the 1.1 beta

Tried file verification, reboots, all the basic stuff. I am running with the newest big patch and not using any mods. My drivers were all up to date as of a few days ago. I have also reported this via the onboard bug reporting system so the developers have all the info they need. Thank you for your input and the links.

The problem is 1A to understand. Recovered the area is not to enter (loading screen freezes at 100%), exhausted very well (it is enough if the main character is exhausted).

The description of the problem helped me more (because so I could continue my game), than the nonsensical text module.

This is very similar to the problem I have after completing the Gold Dragon mythic level 9 quest. If I turn in the quest, and get mythic 9, I can no longer enter Drezen. I get the exact same loading screen hang you describe. So I tried doing the exhaustion thing you describe, but sadly it doesn't work for my bug :(

managed to get their party there in exhausted condition with Regill (Regill is a prerequisit anyroads). --- I tried this method and it worked! I don't understand why but lucky I don't need to wait for another version...

Apparently this is still a thing, but also not affecting that many people? I've got it on at least two saves, one new, also trying it on my original PC. Wonder what causes it. And why being exhausted would bypass it.

I would think it is not affecting that many. Otherwise the developers would have normally released a hotfix already if many reported it as critical bug.

I am doubting it has something to do with the exhaust status. I suspect it has more something to do with the travel log. But that is something a developer can only answer for sure.
