This thing is hilarious with Supreme Charge. Makes me wish there were more longspears devoted to mounted combat besides this one and the crappy one near the beginning. Because this comes so close to the end that it isn't worth the feat investment into longspears. There really need to be 2-3 more "lances" in the Act 2-4 range.

(If you haven't seen it, it's a +5 oversize dragon bane longspear that becomes +7 while mounted, and does 8d6 additional piercing damage on charges. So basically... a lance.)

Finnean can be your longspear throughout the whole game.

Right, but he doesn't give bonus stuff to mounted combat. He's just a normal longspear. There should be a couple more powerful mounted combat longspears.
