spell penetration modifiers breakdown

i don't suppose there's a way to see it? because i can't explain the modifiers i get in the combat window. for instance:
MC, sorc 7/arcane trickster 2 - spell pen, mythic spell pen, allied spellcaster, +1 goggles - modifiers +15 (no allied spellcasters nearby)
inquisitor 7 - allied spellcaster - modifiers +11 (no allied spellcasters nearby)
kineticist (dark elementalist) 8/witch 1 - spell pen, +2 robe - modifiers +18 (!)
all have mythic level 3. inquisitor and the MC seem to have extra +2 from somewhere (assuming mythic spell pen gives +1 as half his mythic level). kineticist is the most weird one. i tried removing all equipment, including the robe, and it dropped to +16. disabling empowered blast did drop it to +14 in one test, but not in another.
covenant of the inheritor was off.

what i verified to be working:
- turning on covenant of the inheritor gives +2 to the party and +4 to the MC (MC has 2 status effect icons)
- allied spellcaster gives +2 for every nearby ally with it. for inquisitors it always gives +2 due to solo tactics, stays at +2 when one AS ally is nearby, goes to +4 when there are two

IIRC, you get some caster levels from your mythic level/path. Look at your caster level for your MC and allies in the book window, and see if that makes the math work.

the value in the book seems to be non-mythic caster level + non-mythic spell pen feats, but no allied spellcaster, since it's situational, and no items, so it's not very helpful. and for kineticist it's not even possible to see spell pen for kinetic blasts. if a character has several spellcasting classes, i don't suppose they are added to calculate spell pen? only the class that casts the spell counts?
