lol,by Asmodeus Mace, they should have worked that into the mythic path, if you're a Elf Lich after the 3rd rank you should be recognized as drow. I'm sure there is more to the transformation to come, but at least at this point they could have made a connection.

They probably should have thought about your character getting cancelled for blackface before okaying that lich pigment change yeah lol. Luckily I chose a pale complexion for my dhampir so the change didn't seem as ludicrously dramatic.
