Mythic Feat for Caster

I am nearing the end now and have 2 mythic feats left. Have all the spell pen, ascendant casting and greater schools already picked as well as elemental barrage.

So now I am just wondering if I should use one of my remaining feats to convert to Mythic Ability and grab the final Abundant Casting or if Sorceres reflex is worth it? I play in Turn Based so assuming based on the description on my first turn with that character he can cast a spell 2 levels below his max as a quickened spell, which with Elemental Barrage is very nice. But wonderig it it is only once per battle or once per turn? I am not sure what the initiative roll is in Turned Based.

Absolutely you want Sorcerous Reflex. High level Pathfinder is rocket tag, and this ability helps you win it.

With quickened it works well enough for me, I have ascendant elemental Fire & Cold so can cast say Hellray & Polar Ray in a single turn (with the quicken rod). The dmg is not amazing (around 30 dmg extra) but not terrible either. Is it worth two mythic abilities? That's debatable but then again I have pretty much everything I want

Sorry if my comment felt like I was criticizing your build, you're free to play whatever suits you of course, as long as you enjoy it.

But for sure Elemental Barrage may not have been the best choice for a nuker, that was only about this.

I am not trying to contradict but on a previous post about magic damage many were of the opinion Elemental Barrage was quite necessary for a mage's damage output.

My view on it for my build? It's "ok" but requires quite a bit to be able to pull of successfully. The main downside is that it would require 2 x ascendant element. Also most trash mobs are dead by the time my caster can fire a 2nd spell off. Quickened spell works well however since you can nuke either a single target or multiple targets (via AoE or Zippy) in one go.

Sorc reflex can also accomplish this, albeit a single time per combat but that can still rock some nice damage. But either quickened spell or Sorc Reflex are again additional feats. Quickened rod can negate feat usage but it's limited to 3 x uses per day.

If I look at the average dmg provided by Elemental Barrage it's between 15 - 30 divine. I have not seen it proc more than onces on ray spells that fire multiple rays although I may be mistaken here? But if it actually does it moves more in it's favour.

So the question becomes are all these feats worth the payoff? I think that's debatable but at least for me, there is not much I would really spend those feats on otherwise, a bit more metamagic but nothing I cannot live without, so while it's feat heavy, I don't feel like I am sacrificing feats to get it and in the end it does increase my spell damage, albeit not by a massive margin.

Sorcerous reflex is pretty good IMO. Even if it's only for the first spell you cast, it's basically just a free quicken spell, so you could throw out two crippling AoE spells or nuke a couple people before they get the chance to react. Good for healers too since it can help you turn around a fight that starts bad.

There's the basic stuff- mythic spell focus is worth it I think, cause it doubles the bonuses to your DCs from the other feats and there's precious few ways to bump your DCs as it is. If you're a blaster School Mastery might let you wring a bit of extra damage out of your evoc spells.

Obligatory abundant caster, that's vital.

I think the final will be on Sorc Reflex to better benefit from EB

Might actually be pretty good with the elemental assessor spell in its intended function.

Has anyone ♥♥♥♥♥♥ Elemental Assessor to work with Elemental Barrage? I'm doing some testing with it and it doesn't seem to do anything at all.
