Yes all of that stuff will help. As for people "skipping turns or attacking each other", it depends on what they're affected by. Most effects have some kind of save (will or otherwise) you need to make to prevent it. Some stuff will affect you even if you do make it, just to a lesser degree.
You can use the Unbreakable Heart level 1 spell to dispel the confusion effect you get from swarms. Many classes have access to it.
What is really good against the swarms is a very powerful archer. Not sure if Lann as a zen archer is good enough but my Lann as a mutation warrior archer kill them extremely fast.
I haven't try Kineticist or a alchemist grenadier against them but they should be good.
From my experience, Nenio fireballs, burning arcs and scorching rays were very disappointing...
Yes will save is important against them, but the level 1 spell Unbreakable Heart can help a little bit. But what help the most in my opinion is the formation by keeping baits in front and archers far back.
AoE spells will work but check their resists as not all elements are effective against them.
He was probably at that time 1 zen archer / level 6 or 7 mutation warrior
Yeah... the strength of a fighter is to stack attack bonus and a mutation warrior can stack even more. Archer require a lot of attack bonus to keep rapid shot + deadly aim ON at all time and they can do a ton of damage after level 6.
But i haven't play with Lann as a pure Zen archer tough so i am not totally sure on how ''big'' the difference is...
Keep in mind that he has manyshot which do not show on the character sheet.
