In Camealia's quest in the Abyss, you go to a brothel where they have people/homunculi that can take the shape of anyone you want. The quest is for you to buy one for Camellia so she can kill whoever Mereya most desires to appease her.
If you start breaking into some of the other rooms, you'll end up finding a group of demons that are pretty savagely, uh, hugging, a homunculus that looks like you.
Is that what that was supposed to be? I was super confused when I found that guy. XD
end game trickster spoiler
if you decide to make the worldwound the crossroads between planes, regill the super-serious-boi gets so shocked at how he was an unwitting accomplice to the plan, that his bleaching reverts a hundred years.

While i'm at it, when you ask Arueshalae about the "special" demons after conquering Drezen in Act 3 the list of guesses and rumours she gives includes the real way it happens. Not that she knows about it at that point, or is aware that your powers come from the same source.
(Ofc this might still be a ruse and she will later assassinate a few gods as she did with demon lords, but so far she seems genuine)
Official lore thus far is that Nocticula is being genuine. Her main reason for seeking ascension is that she feels restrained by her own nature as a demon. The biggest hint is that Nocticula is able to see through the Hand of The Inheritor's ward that makes him invisible to evil souls. Its not a matter of power either as the ward also works on Mephistopheles, who is of comparable power to Nocticula.
Also Rovagug worshipers have nice interaction with Demon path.
i also liked when i noticed on my second walkthrough, as i explored the market square, a bunch of mysteriously beheaded corpses... now that i knew what they were related to.
oh, and there are just some interesting bits of dialogue here and there when you have just the right companions with you. like, if you already have daeran with you when you recruit ember, he will comment that he thought only oracles had curses (addressing ember's burned curse).
p:wotr is a buggy game, released too early, but these touches show that its a work of love
Which is haunting me hard, after the already haunting result of my decision having children joining the Free Crusaders and them participating in the attack on Midnight Fane.
Though, by now I am starting/wishing to think it is just fake since it is brought by Early Sunset.
Speaking of letters: also memorable is the one of the defender of Drezen. The part with the cooking... or the other one with all the jokes.
The defender's letter (the one that includes a holy fountain) is some haunting stuff.
