**SPOILERS** Details Appreciation Thread
Seeing stuff like "Is Irabeth supposed to be an anagram, of Aribeth from neverwinter nights?" or that special sex slave you can easily miss, or the trickster dialogue which leads to that hilarious outcome... alas, there are so many great details in the game you can miss, you might miss, you might even not know it is special - I like to make a collection thread here.

Welcoming everyone who wants to share their memorable and special moments ingame. Whether it is the fact that certain dialogue options are only available depending on your choice of deity, or stuff like that the soldiers who participated in the conquest of Drezen get double pay.

What details did you come across while playing which you think is awesome, worth to mention or simply makes the feeling of the game more whole?

Let us start with the most obvious one once you got to a certain point in the game:

When you realise the true meaning of Suture words during the prologue "according to the guy (...) this weapon could even pierce the hide of a demon lord"

Another wow moment of mine when I realised that Zacharius' wand is was actually a lich phylactery. I was shocked since until that moment I thought all the time he was a hero to the crusade.

Could someone spoil me about the sex slave? Is it just a cut-scene?
Also a specific golden toad moment is quite cool.

In Camealia's quest in the Abyss, you go to a brothel where they have people/homunculi that can take the shape of anyone you want. The quest is for you to buy one for Camellia so she can kill whoever Mereya most desires to appease her.

If you start breaking into some of the other rooms, you'll end up finding a group of demons that are pretty savagely, uh, hugging, a homunculus that looks like you.
Not reactive buut i found a Dark Souls reference when you go to save the Hellknights/recruit Regill if you take the side check in the cave you will find a lone follower of i believe Iomedae(It might be Sarenrae) who then does Solair of Astorias pose saying "Praise x god" with it being one of the two aforementioned sun gods(it was so long ago i cannot recall which one exactly).

Is that what that was supposed to be? I was super confused when I found that guy. XD

I love that the trickster can appoint the cats of Drezen as crusaders and they become priests and inquisitors of Iomedae.

Trickster is full of surprises like that.

Just this morning I wanted to test something in combat. Since My game was saved, I picked the nearest target. Black Mask in the Fleshmarket who was standing next to the gate I just exited. So I punched him in the face and got down to it. Was not expecting what happened next.

I defeat him pretty easy and when I go to loot his corpse, I can't. Because it turns out Black Mask actually was a black mask. The mask he was wearing was sentient and was using the body I hit as a host. After listening to him rant that there was nothing I could do to stop him, I was able to use my trickster powers to turn him into a clown mask instead! Which now decided it wanted to have fun instead of fighting things and now spends its time in the fleshmarket begging people to wear it so they can have fun.

Did not see that coming. I love Trickster. Now I'm torn about keeping it or not, because I'd lose a pretty good vendor...but funny!

end game trickster spoiler

if you decide to make the worldwound the crossroads between planes, regill the super-serious-boi gets so shocked at how he was an unwitting accomplice to the plan, that his bleaching reverts a hundred years.

Note that it looks exactly as you do at that specific point in time. Including transformations. I happened to be a dragon at the time... meaning i was bigger than all three demons put together.

While i'm at it, when you ask Arueshalae about the "special" demons after conquering Drezen in Act 3 the list of guesses and rumours she gives includes the real way it happens. Not that she knows about it at that point, or is aware that your powers come from the same source.
The canon for nocticula is that she later ascends to become a (good/non evil) goddess. So maybe ember's conversation with her during the game (if you happen to have ember with you, when you meet nocticula they will always have a little dialogue on each occasion) did indeed take a part in redeeming a demon lord.
(Ofc this might still be a ruse and she will later assassinate a few gods as she did with demon lords, but so far she seems genuine)

Official lore thus far is that Nocticula is being genuine. Her main reason for seeking ascension is that she feels restrained by her own nature as a demon. The biggest hint is that Nocticula is able to see through the Hand of The Inheritor's ward that makes him invisible to evil souls. Its not a matter of power either as the ward also works on Mephistopheles, who is of comparable power to Nocticula.
I like the thing with succubus pretending to be Imodae at Grey Garrison, she tries to seduce you by taking on form of your god. If you are atheist, it does not work.
Also Rovagug worshipers have nice interaction with Demon path.
Oh that reminds me! At some point in act 4 Early Sunset shows up. The hand of the inheritor greets him and says he's so happy another ally is trying to help you and Early Sunset completely ignores him. Some nice foreshadowing (even though you could probably have figured it out before then, I still liked that touch).
I liked small touches here and there, like in daeran romance line or with areelu they notice if they wear items they got you (though with areelu you only need to have it in inventory, idk with daeran).
i also liked when i noticed on my second walkthrough, as i explored the market square, a bunch of mysteriously beheaded corpses... now that i knew what they were related to.
oh, and there are just some interesting bits of dialogue here and there when you have just the right companions with you. like, if you already have daeran with you when you recruit ember, he will comment that he thought only oracles had curses (addressing ember's burned curse).
p:wotr is a buggy game, released too early, but these touches show that its a work of love

Which is haunting me hard, after the already haunting result of my decision having children joining the Free Crusaders and them participating in the attack on Midnight Fane.

Though, by now I am starting/wishing to think it is just fake since it is brought by Early Sunset.

Speaking of letters: also memorable is the one of the defender of Drezen. The part with the cooking... or the other one with all the jokes.

Hum, I didn't get that event on my second walkthrough, but on my first I sent them to back lines and they were fine, I think? I'm unsure, at this point... My memory is worse than Nenio's, because she at least can control what she forgets.

The defender's letter (the one that includes a holy fountain) is some haunting stuff.
