constant fatigue/exhaustion
I'm pretty sure it's a bug, but it seems like there is nothing I can do to avoid fatigue/exhaustion. I'll rest my entire party, make sure no one has encumbrance, and still after every battle they're all either fatigued or exhausted. My MC should be immune to fatigue and exhaustion, but even that isn't working. I'm pretty confident this is an issue involving encumbrance, but I can't seem to find a way to work around it. Advice?

Do you actually see the fatigue / exhaustion on their debuff bar? If so, anything you can find about it in the combat log?

Certain enemies have spells and abilities that cause fatigue and exhaustion, it is a pain to be fair.
But if your main is immune this should not be happening.
Check for some sortnof cursed item, but I am grasping for any idea at this point and it sounds like a bug.

Any mods installed?

Or have you respect your character recently?

That sounds utmost interesting. I suspect a respec/retrain might help, but before that I would love to have a closer look.

I respec often, so yes, I have respecced. I also see the fatigue/exhaustion debuff. My characters are getting fatigued in encounters with melee mobs that don't have access to abilities that would make them fatigued/ exhausted. It started happening after encounters with groups of spiders, so I thought it might be poison at first, but after healing everyone up and making sure they were G2G, the fatigue/exhaustion kept on coming. I then thought it was because I used STR as a dump stat for most of them, but I remade a STR based character and even they are getting fatigued/ exhausted after encounters. I took the Mythic version of the Oracle curse "Lame", and I am still getting fatigued/ exhausted.

If you share screenshots and save file I would like to take a closer look if you are interested in a solution. Most likely it is related to the curse not being addressed by the developers yet.

It's coming from the passage of time. If I don't unequip all my characters armor and manually rest them each day, they gain fatigue, then exhaustion. The curse is only preventing fatigue; it is failing to prevent the exhaustion, likely because it's not being implemented correctly. I understand the importance of this mechanic while you're playing tabletop, but even then I've played like one game where the DM makes you unequip armor and rest each day. Implementing it into this feels like a design flaw.

I'm putting points into nature for all my weak party members in order to counter short travel cycles - maybe this helps with your problem? (if it isn't some borked respeccing issue that is)

Just to echo others, I know that in difficult terrain on the world map, there's nature skill checks that if you fail even one you get fatigued.

So if you're getting fatigued/exhausted from travelling that's the problem. It still doesn't account for an immune MC getting exhausted though.

One thing I did notice too even in Kingmaker: Once you become exhausted from travel on any map and don't rest but instead strip it with restoration spells or heal, then the fatigue/exhaustion will instantly return on all party members in like the next round.

It could be that, combined with a repec bug that's not allowing you to "reset" the exhaustion timer/trigger. Maybe try using a whole bunch of restoration on all party members, then rest without moving anyone.
