But if your main is immune this should not be happening.
Check for some sortnof cursed item, but I am grasping for any idea at this point and it sounds like a bug.
Any mods installed?

That sounds utmost interesting. I suspect a respec/retrain might help, but before that I would love to have a closer look.
If you share screenshots and save file I would like to take a closer look if you are interested in a solution. Most likely it is related to the curse not being addressed by the developers yet.
So if you're getting fatigued/exhausted from travelling that's the problem. It still doesn't account for an immune MC getting exhausted though.
One thing I did notice too even in Kingmaker: Once you become exhausted from travel on any map and don't rest but instead strip it with restoration spells or heal, then the fatigue/exhaustion will instantly return on all party members in like the next round.
It could be that, combined with a repec bug that's not allowing you to "reset" the exhaustion timer/trigger. Maybe try using a whole bunch of restoration on all party members, then rest without moving anyone.
