[SPOILER] FINALLY FIGURED OUT HOW TO DO TRUE LANN ROMANCE

The youtube video on Lann romance is highly misleading. Having spent an entire PL for romancing lann, and succeeded, I would like to clarify couple things that have been misrepresented on the video. Treat it as a minor guide for Lann romance =D

1. You can start romantic relationship shortly after starting 5th crusade, you can hardly miss this as long as your PC is female and she is not too evil.

2. After taking Drezen, take him outside and rest on a map, tell him to read children book to you.

3. After finishing his quest in ACT3, he will ask you for a date, LET HIM WIN, and DONT COMPLAIN. remember to talk to him in Drezen afterward, click those newly appeared ones.

4. His mom will come, its a state event. Help them reconcile, dont be mean, remeber when his mom ask you your feeling toward him, reply "i like him".

5. Now here is the first big step toward true romance with lann. After step4, you need to talk to chief Sull, who should be standing next to Lann. and pass a persuasion check (DC16-20) and encourage him to become the new chief. Then wait for a few days. After this, lann will come to your command room, with three "chief problems" give him advices, for the first two problems, use good-alignment options. for the 3rd one, choose "let the children stay here", dont send them away. Then, talk to him in Drezen, and tell him you dont mind having children with him. (yes, its in Drezen, not in the wild as the video shows)

6. Into the abyss, do his quest, find him outside the tavern, nothing special, barely missable. Just remember to choose the reply smartly.

7. Back to Drezen, now you will need to take another big step toward your true romance. After being lectured by the meanest goddess. Take him outside (yes, outside, not in Drezen), rest with him, and he will have some comments about your choice on mythic path, then he will present you with a gift. Click "Is there a brave, dumb mongral who is going to marry me?", then click "thank you for your gift, but it might be possible that ......" DONT CHOOSE "ill keep it safe" (if you choose the wrong reply you will be forever blocked from true romance).

8. Do his final quest, remember to support him. AND FINALLY after your date he will ask you to marry him, which means you achieve the true romance with lann.

8+. Some ppl might ask, where the etude about writing his mom a letter is; after running toy box for couple hours, and field testing all the possibilities, I would say it is highly possible that this etude has been removed from the game. (Maybe im wrong =D) But the important thing is, this etude is NOT a requirement for the true romance, so dont freak out on the letter.

Do you know if doing step 5 before 4 will lock me out of the true Lann romance ? Right after doing his quest for step 3 and coming back to Drezen I wanted to talk to Chef Sull and it kind of put me in a dialogue where i encouraged Lann to become the chief (DC 26). He accepted to temporarily become the chief and to report later on so I guess it was supposed to be Step 5.

Also, here's a tip for step 3 if you can't let him win : Either give him as many opportunity attacks as you can or flee. Letting Lann win is rather difficult since your HP keep coming back with the banner of Drezen so I've seen people saying to give him as many opportunity attacks as possible. It was still unsufficient for my cinetist azata (wich had even more regeneration of HP and a great constitution), but after giving a few punch, running around etc I accidentally clicked too far from the fight and ended up having the "you lost" dialogue as if he beated me up.

Did the Savamelekh quest, killing him, supported Lann, but there's nothing afterwards, how long is it until there's more content? Talking to him or Sull does nothing.

So I know it's been a while since this was posted, but just in case someone else looks, you can still get the event where Lann is writing to his mom - just talk to him while resting out in the field. I ran across it while trying to get the other conversation after the Abyss you're supposed to get while resting outside of Drezen. So just try resting with him outside of Drezen (meaning rest in an actual area where you can lay down the camp)

And also, to beat him in his first date event - you can turn off the combat AI (click the brain icon under the stealth icon) and I also made my character 'hold' (press "H") and my character just stood there getting beat up by Lann.
