Try mercenaries?

honestly imo it doesn't matter much. MC can get so powerful you just need bodies unless you built for solo. And as a caster lich it's probably more damage from the back type.

I keep doing mercenaries, in every playthrough but this time i wanna bring some npc's along on the lich path. I don't mind if its a 5 person party, but I'm having trouble visualizing this.

I'm not min/max but I am dangerously min/maxed with 20int/18cha .

You can turn camellia into a tank as effective if not more-so than seelah. The gnome is not too bad either.

Also because you're lich there's Kestoglyr . Probably the best meat shield for you.

You also get the skeletal companion you can make a tank too, right?

i love wen, it is such a disapointment she cant be a tank but she is perfectly aligned to be a archer so i keep her there. camellia is the tank im focusing on, and it looks like the gnome is my only tank. for a long time at least. (havent gotten the gnome yet)

Wen is amazing dual wielding throwing axes. Shame I keep ending up having to kill her.
Cam is probably a better tank than Regill depending on how you build her.

Its a shame idd but then again i like companions who bring more to the table . So i tend to go freebooter on her , but ima pick Lann this time and do something similar .

My runs have been buggy , so ima Try and not respec MC past mythic quests. See if that helps

i would say don't trust respecting, like you use mods to try and respec and they all have problems with bugs being reported with issues on respecting.

The devs themselves have mentioned that respecting during act 3 and maybe even act 2 causes game stability issues etc later on and i wouldn't trust them to fully patch all these critical issues since they don't really have a good reputation on quality products.

Sure they patch alot and frequent but that also says how much of a buggy mess there products are and after it happening again on this game i won't be buying there next game at launch because odds are it will be just be another E.A Beta Test game that needs another year or 2 like kingmaker to be enjoyable.

If you're worried about tanking, Camelia can actually be a surprisingly solid tank if you build her up right. Dodge, Shield Focus, the Iceplant hex, the ring that boosts your natural armor AC by 2 more if you have the iceplant hex (I think you can buy that from the cleric in act 1?) mythic dodge, her AC can actually match Seelah's step for step pretty easily. I've even had Camelia's AC surpass Seelah a few times.
