Stormlords reserve bracers need some explanation

basically it says on the bracers

"allowing them to turn all their energy attacks into electrical"

so last time i respeced ember into full lightning caster and just spell pene with lightning element mythic feat so even if i casted fire spell i would cast it as lightning right becuz it transforms everything to lightning? or im missunderstanding something

For the extra spells and shield, you just need to equip it.

Only if you want all energy attacks, aka fire, wind etc. turning into lightning attacks, then you activate the item. Otherwise ist is good just to wear it. I would by all means not turn it on in the Abyss or against demons.

There is a toggle in the abilities tab you must activate if you want your spells to do electrical damage.

i been wondering about this sentence and why not? if i pick mythic feat lightning element wich lets me ignore lightning resistances doesnt that solve the issue?

Actually... if you can bypass immunities and resistances with that, you are good. ^^
That makes it easier to focus on one energy type to hit your enemies for sure and hard.

Of course, without Ascendant Element it would be otherwise a handicap having all your energy attacks turned electric.
